Masculine Thank You

Here is the masculine Thank You card I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) from the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club page.  I love the look of this card.

First I added a layer of Early Expresso and cut a piece of designer paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series paper stack.  This will be retiring the end of May so if you like this masculine look -- head on over to my store and pick yourself up a stack!  

I brushed the letters half way up with my ink pad.  I used a sticky note to hold all the letters together and removed their backing and placed on my card.  Very easy way to keep the letters straight!

I stamped Friend on a piece of Sahara sand scrap and punched out with the retired Washi Tape punch.  I added one of the leaves stickers from the kit to provide a little more color.

Thank You Alternative

Today's share is the second card I made before heading over to Pinterest to see what I had pinned for this kit.  So many ideas can be found for the Paper Pumpkin kits either on Pinterest or Facebook.  Did you know Paper Pumpkin has a Facebook page called Paper Pumpkin Fan Club?  Great ideas are here as well!  

I was really trying hard to stay with the kit ideas.  They just weren't doing it for me.  Again, I highlighted the letters and sponged the outlines on this card.

Paper Pumpkin Ideas

Today's share are some of the cards I made with this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I've talked with you about signing up and there are just so many ideas for this kit!  I will highlight each card this week.  I made all nine of these cards and still have pieces and words left over!  

The first card I want to highlight is the bottom Friend Card.  This is the closest to the original designs in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I had trouble reading the word "Friend" so I used my Early Expresso marker and traced the lettering.  I then sponged the outer portion of the frame.  I also used my Old Olive Blends to color the vellum leaves because you can hardly see the vellum leaves without the coloring.

If you have signed up for Paper Pumpkin and are having trouble putting your kits together, stop in and play with me!  We can do them together.  Bring your own adhesive and kit, and we'll be ready to go!

Birthday Twist and Pop Card

As promised, here is the Birthday card I made.  Now I do have to share with you that I made both of these cards, 10 Valentine Post It Note Kits, and 4 bookmarks -- all in one day!  I've had a friend helping me get better organized in my store, and things are just so awesome now.

Now onto our project.  If you took my Twist and Pop class, this will look familiar.  If you haven't and want to, let me know.  I have two classes scheduled -- one on the 17th and one on the 24th to make these cards.  When you take my class, you also get the tutorial so you can make more of these at home!

For this card, I used the Blushing Bride cardstock in lieu of the Garden Green I used yesterday.  I wanted this to be a little softer.  The new owner of this card will need to color or request I color in the appropriate age.

For the inside, I again used scraps on the sides.  I added some Wink of Stella to the flames on this card for a little more bling.

Twist and Pop Valentine Card

I was challenged by a friend to make the same card patterns into both a Valentine and a Birthday card.  First is the Valentine card.  What do you think?

I absolutely LOVE this Valentine card.  I made this one first since we're close to Valentines Day.  If you need a Valentine Card, come out and see the different cards I have available!

 I used my Hearts Framelits to cut the hearts and stacked on top of the front of the card using dimensionals.  

For the inside, I used two different Paper Pumpkin stamp sets to create this.  As in class, I used paper scraps to pop the sides of each panel.
