Use Your Stash!

Here's some more beautiful papers from Stampin' Up!  Did you know you don't always have to layer with card stock?

On this card, I used some of the flip side of this paper to layer on the sides of the main piece.  Look close.  Can you see where I also used the papers as a background for the sentiment?  I also decorated the flap with the same papers.

Just another way to use up my papers.

God's Work of Art

Today's card highlights the beautiful colors in our designer series papers.  When you purchase our papers, the coordinating colors are listed on the backside.

Because it's easier to write on white, I layered this card using the coordinating color chart.   My sentiment is stamped and popped up to emphasize God's art work.

I hope this inspires you to work with your papers to create beautiful cards.

Colored Wood

Today's share are two cards I had up for sale.  Since they haven't sold, I took them down and colored them using a Stampin' Write Marker.  I also added the small birds so this is not for small children.

When using your write markers or blends on wood, be careful not to "tear" the tip as this will cause them to dry out faster.

If you have any questions on using any Stampin' Up! Product, please reach out to me!

Oranges

Today's card is another one I created a while ago.  I just needed to add a sentiment.  I love this fruit salad paper and although it's no longer available, I need to use it up!

I layered three pieces of the designer paper on the front.  When I do this, I put the first piece on top, the third piece goes on the bottom.  Then I place the second piece, centering between the other two pieces.  I also placed some fruit on the inside which I fussy cut (cut with scissors).  Adding a piece of the fruit paper to the flap on the envelope really pops.

Hopefully, my cards will inspire you to get your crafting juices going.

Masculine Birthday

Today's card I revamped from a card swap.  I removed their front and made a tag for the front.  I then added a twine bow on top.  For the inside, I added a "cheers" sentiment from my stash of sentiments.

Have you ever swapped cards with another crafter?  I love swapping cards for other ideas.  If I'm not sure that I will use it, I set it aside.  Then it may travel to my revamp pile.  If you'd like to swap handmade cards, let me know, I'd love to swap with you!

I love this masculine birthday card!

Happy Birthday, Mom

Today's card is made from the Feb 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit.

I cut one card base in half and used as a layer on my own cardstock.  All the embellishments were included in the kit.

Happy Birthday, Mom.  We miss you!!

Apples, Anyone?

Today's share is a card I made awhile back but hadn't put any words on it.  On the inside I placed an apple that I fussy cut from the Fruit Salad papers.  I lined the flap of the envelope with one of the three papers used on the front of the card.  This is one card that will be added to my online store, Desirees-Craftroom.square.site/s/shop  Then scroll down the left side menu and click on Greeting Cards!

If you have scraps laying around, share what you made with those scraps!

Thank You

Today's share is a card I turned inside out from one of our Paper Pumpkin kits.  I popped my sentiment on one side so when opened the verse inside can be seen.  I used a gold foil card that I cut in half to put inside.  For this card, I'm also including a gold foil envelop.

Some of you may recognize the stamp set -- from Here's to Spring (Feb Paper Pumpkin).  This will be added to my store soon.

Rough Times

It's been a really rough month.  I've had issues with my blood sugars since getting two steroid shots too close together in time.  Then I received my shot in my lower back on the 19th of June.  My baby girl, the last of our breeding pups, was put down on June 30th.  It's been very hard for me to get motivated on crafting.

However, when customers want cards, I get busy making them for the customer.  Today's share is just a few of the cards I made for my sister, Linda.  Her request was a variety of cards with a certain phrase on the front.  Let me know what you think!

These cards were "designed" but I just had to put them together.  Sometimes when I'm down, I cut pieces and put them in an envelope and finish creating the card when I need it.  I'm grateful I can do a little at a time.

Hello

I apologize to all my followers.  I've been having some rough times this month.  My epidural fluoroscopic shot in my back last month was given in the wrong spot.  My pain doctor was very surprised.  He's scheduled me for the 19th so I hope this one works as well as the one I received in November.  My husband has had some seizure like symptoms, so we're heading to specialist on Tuesday.

Many thanks to Carolyn, a friend who is not on Facebook.  She sent me this card with a beautiful note inside.  A reminder that even though I don't feel good, I can still reach out to others with my cards!

Rainy Day

It's a dreary day here today.  Dogs got me up at 4:30 due to thunderstorms.  Of course, with that I have arthritic pain in my back and down my legs.  Won't be crafting today.

But I will share a couple of cards I modified with the help of my friend, Sandra.  These cards weren't selling, so while we talked, she walked me through coloring the trees and the leaves.  I will share the trees cards on Monday!

I hope you enjoy the upgrades!

Two Tea Bag Holder

This is what I call my Two Tea Bag holder.  But you can be creative and use this as a gift bag.  How?

Simply remove the tea and put a set of earrings on cardboard and place inside one pocket.  Then add a matching necklace on cardboard and slip in the other pocket!

You can also use these for gift cards, little love notes, or Ghirardelli chocolates!  What else can you think of for these?

Stand Up Post It Notes

Today's share are some post it notes that I like to use for inspiration.  These stand up so the person using these will see that inspiration every time they use their post it notes.

The nice thing is they can replace the post it notes when they run out!

By the Bay Birthday

Today's share are a couple of more cards I crafted using pieces of By the Bay papers.  I layered a strip of coordinating paper and then placed my clams on top.  Using the new arch dies, I cut my sentiment and coordinating background to highlight the sentiment.  On the insides, I placed a strip of the paper I used on the front.

On the second card, I just added two different papers and a strip of card stock where they join together.

I hope these inspire you to be creative in your craftroom.

By the Bay Masuline Cards

Today's share are a couple of cards I made using the By The Bay Designer Series Papers.  Yes,  this is retired, but I decided to pull my tote with my card class supplies to finish using up what I had prepared.

These two cards show off the opposite side of the papers.  I like this technique because sometimes it's hard to decide which side to use!  I pulled colors from the papers to coordinate for layering and stamping.  These can easily be switched to Father's Day, Thinking of You, Thanks, etc.

Come back on Monday for more inspiration!

Welcome to New Home

Today's share are cards I made for my friend, Sue Vannier.  She is a realtor and wanted some Welcome cards for new home buyers.

I had a bunch of keys that I no longer knew what they went to, so I used those as samples for Sue to insert the new house keys!

I used the retired Welcome Neighbor designer series papers from long ago.  I think these turned out cute! Let me know what you think, please.
