Rainy Day

It's a dreary day here today.  Dogs got me up at 4:30 due to thunderstorms.  Of course, with that I have arthritic pain in my back and down my legs.  Won't be crafting today.  

But I will share a couple of cards I modified with the help of my friend, Sandra.  These cards weren't selling, so while we talked, she walked me through coloring the trees and the leaves.  I will share the trees cards on Monday!

Two Tea Bag Holder

This is what I call my Two Tea Bag holder.  But you can be creative and use this as a gift bag.  How?

Simply remove the tea and put a set of earrings on cardboard and place inside one pocket.  Then add a matching necklace on cardboard and slip in the other pocket!

You can also use these for gift cards, little love notes, or Ghirardelli chocolates!  What else can you think of for these?

Stand Up Post It Notes

Today's share are some post it notes that I like to use for inspiration.  These stand up so the person using these will see that inspiration every time they use their post it notes.

The nice thing is they can replace the post it notes when they run out!

By the Bay Birthday

Today's share are a couple of more cards I crafted using pieces of By the Bay papers.  I layered a strip of coordinating paper and then placed my clams on top.  Using the new arch dies, I cut my sentiment and coordinating background to highlight the sentiment.  On the insides, I placed a strip of the paper I used on the front.

On the second card, I just added two different papers and a strip of card stock where they join together.   

I hope these inspire you to be creative in your craftroom.

By the Bay Masuline Cards

Today's share are a couple of cards I made using the By The Bay Designer Series Papers.  Yes,  this is retired, but I decided to pull my tote with my card class supplies to finish using up what I had prepared.  

These two cards show off the opposite side of the papers.  I like this technique because sometimes it's hard to decide which side to use!  I pulled colors from the papers to coordinate for layering and stamping.  These can easily be switched to Father's Day, Thinking of You, Thanks, etc.

Welcome to New Home

Today's share are cards I made for my friend, Sue Vannier.  She is a realtor and wanted some Welcome cards for new home buyers. 

I had a bunch of keys that I no longer knew what they went to, so I used those as samples for Sue to insert the new house keys!  

I used the retired Welcome Neighbor designer series papers from long ago.  I think these turned out cute! Let me know what you think, please.

I made this card with the Perennial Lavender designer series papers using a One-Sheet-Wonder cut.  I used Gorgeous Grape cut at 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" and layered the 3-1/2 X 3-1/2 Lavender paper on it.  I then placed the panel on a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 Fresh Fresia card base.  

I wrapped twine around the flagged panel and added the sentiment.

Inked Botanicals Birthday

Today's card is made using Inked Botanicals designer series papers.  They are all cut in triangles, and according to their pattern, carefully placed on Crushed Curry card stock.  The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral and glued onto a Lost Lagoon punched label.  Then I put the finished front on Vanilla card base.

Daisies For Your Birthday

Here are more daisies to brighten anyone's day.  I pulled the crushed curry color to help make the daisies pop.  The strips on the sides and the Happy Birthday help brighten the card.  

On the inside, I added another sentiment from the mix & match Emphemera pack and put on a Crushed Curry background.

Fresh As A Daisy

Today's card is using the Fresh as a Daisy designer series papers from Stampin' Up!  This was a piece that was leftover from making the Acrylic Frame Post It Note Holders.  

I glued this panel of daisies onto blue card stock.  I used another sentiment from the Saying Something Mix & Match Emphemera pack.  Final touches include adding three dragonflies around the flowers.  

Thank you cards can be used in many different ways.  I hope this card inspires you to thank someone for making a difference in your life.

Happy Birthday

Today's share is a quick card I made using Inked Botanicals designer series papers.  Panel is on thick white card stock.  An added panel of Lost Lagoon and Pool Party complement the colors in the floral panel.  

The sentiment is from the Saying Something Mix & Match Emphemera Pack.  This package has many different sayings that you can use on various cards.  If you look back through my posts, you will see where I've used blends to color the white on some of the sayings.

There are many ways to change the look of your card.  Let's set up a time where we can make cards together!

Best Wishes

I'm so in love with this paper from Stampin' Up!  It's called Perennial Lavender.  It can be used for just about any occasion and you can dress it up using our coordination card stock.

On this card, I used Gorgeous Grape on Shaded Spruce.

You're going to be seeing a lot of this paper as I did cut one sheet to do a one-sheet-wonder set of cards.

God Is Love

Today's card is one I received in my upline card swap.  What's an upline?  When you join Stampin' Up! You join under someone.  Susie Wood is my up line and she holds a demonstrator gathering once a quarter.  I participate in the card swaps by mail.  

I sometimes change the look or add to the different cards.  On this one I did add card stock on the inside to write a little note.

Love You Forever

Today I'm sharing a beautiful card with a sentiment for many occasions. Inside is blank, so a phrase can be added before mailing. Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Happy Mother's Day, Congratulations! 

This card is also good to mail/give to a family member that you haven't spoken to in a while. Let them know they are still in your heart!

Just be sure to mention which phrase you would like to personalize on the inside.

Happy Birthday to my sweetheart, Rick.  

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  

Today's card is made using the retiring color, Wild Wheat.  I love this color and it makes the designer series paper pop.  If you look closely, you will see I used some designer paper to highlight the papers.

On the inside, a simple "Happy Birthday" sentiment is stamped.

Happy National Teacher's Day

It's National Teacher's Day!  It's a time to thank teachers for all the hard work they performed to help groom our kids. This is a great gift for the teachers, office co-workers, best friend, or one who needs inspiration or a "pick me up." The acrylic 4 x 6 stand is decorated using Stampin' Up! products; designer series papers, stamps, ink, etc.

These are available in my on line store as well. They are enclosed in a plastic envelope for protection.

Happy Birthday

Today's card is using the Perennial Lavender designer series papers.  This is in our new catalog which debuts today!  The words are from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Emphemera Pack which is also in the new catalog.  I colored the white using a Stampin' Blend so it matched the card stock.  I placed a piece of crumb cake on the inside for personalization.  I love how this turned out.
