Sneak Peek Delicate Ornament Thinlet Dies

Today we're meeting in Desiree's Craftroom to make some Critter Curvy Keepsake boxes.  So this post is about what I crafted the last two days.

You saw that I received my Holiday Catalog preorder and these were created using the new Delicate Ornament Thinlet Dies, the Precision Base Plate and the new Red Foil Sheets.

First ornament die is gorgeous!  But I haven't figured out YET how to make this into a 3-dimensional ornament.

Second ornament die is a beautiful die and this ornament is 3-dimensional.

Then I tried using the same die with some retired Designer Series Paper.

Lastly, I tried the small round Delicate Ornament die.  It's gorgeous, too, as a 3-dimensional ornament.

Be sure to leave me a comment here on what you think of the new products!

Sneak Peek Holiday Catalog

You should soon be receiving your new Holiday Catalogs.  If you are local to Hollister, MO, and would like to pick one up, you can get yours from me on Saturday when you come to the Critter Class!  Class is from 2-6 PM, or however long it takes you to make your critters.

Here's what I created using two new product from the catalog.  I also used retired gold Encore ink pad to stamp the veins of the flower.  Be sure to leave me a comment on what you think of this poinsettia.

Holiday Catalog Preorder

Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator means you get to order items before they are available to your customers.  This gives you time to learn how to use the new items and create some fabulous cards or present toppers!

Here's what my preorder looked like when I opened it.

Come back tomorrow to see what I've created!

Final Card from Weekend Stampin'

This is the last card we created this past weekend.  I absolutely LOVE this stamp, Get Well Soup.  I stamped the image on the Whisper White using Momento Black Ink.  I then used a scrap piece of Cucumber Crush card stock and stamped in Versa Mark and used Silver embossing powder to bring out the bowl.  I then fussy cut the bowl and spoon handle and popped up on dimensionals.  Using my White Signo Gel Pen, I colored the soup.

I hope you enjoyed the cards we made this month!

Our next Card buffet is tonight from 6-9 pm.  Then this Saturday, the 15th, we have our first Critter Class.

Hope you can join us!

Happy crafting,

Desiree'

Three of Four cards from this Weekend's Card Class

Here is card number three we made this past weekend.  I found this on Pinterest by Stamp with Peggy and knew I had to make it!  Using the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack, we mounted this onto the Whisper White.  We added a touch of ribbon to transition the two papers.  We used the Flower Shop stamp set on this and stamped in Momento Black and Crumb Cake inks and punched out using the coordinating punch.

A simple but elegant "Happy Birthday" from another retired stamp set.  Add pearls to the center of each flower make this card pop.

When looking at Pinterest, and you don't have all the items they used, change it up and use what you have!  You've now seen two different cards that I have CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) and I didn't have all the supplies they used.

That's the fun in using what you have--and the cards still look elegant.

Second of Four Cards for August Card Class

This is another quick card we are making with the new Cherry On Top paper stack.  I cased this one from my upline, Susie Wood.

I used the retired Cloud embossing folder but the new Elegant Dots folder really looks nice (Susie's card had the Elegant Dots).   We will be using the new Triple Banner Punch, Scallop Circle Punch and one of our circle punches.  The stamp set we're using on this card is Butterfly Basics.

Happy Crafting,
