Watercolor Technique Cards

Here are two of the cards I made with some of the samples we made during our Watercolor Technique class.  When you take this class, we learn the technique, and you go home with 8 samples that you can keep or use them on cards or scrapbooking.

Watercolor Technique

Here are pictures taken during my Watercolor Class held last Saturday.

Grace is the youngest in the class and did exceptionally well.

If you missed the class, I'm having it again this coming Wednesday, July 20th, from 12:30-3 and again from 3:30-6. Call or message me to set up your class if we need to schedule a different day/time.

Ever have One of Those Days?

Whew!  I was super busy yesterday and realized this morning, I had no post!!

Yesterday, I held a Perpetual Birthday Calendar Class for Nancy and Meralee.  I had a couple of kits from Stampin' Up! that I had set aside for them since they came into the store and stated they wanted to make these together.

There was lots of fun, changing of colors and punching different designs to make these their own.

Here are some pictures from yesterday,

Nancy watching Meralee
Checking our paper/pad for even stamping
Adding stars to our calendar

Then last night, after dinner, I had a friend come over and we did some Cricut Expression cutting.  Again, she was asking for a variety of different items and we went through my craft room stash and I was able to find the right colors of ribbon, designer series papers, and cardstock.

I will be working on a project tutorial for her as well, changing up the Stand Up Post it Notes for a wider post it note pad.

If you have any special requests, be sure to drop me a line or better yet, stop in my store at the Branson Mill Craft Village, Tuesdays-Saturdays to see me!

Starburst Classes Tomorrow!

I was waiting for some photos to share with you on the Watercolor Class I held on Saturday, but decided I'd better post something about my classes for tomorrow!

I'm offering two different times for this class tomorrow.  The project actually only takes about an hour or so to complete, depending on how much sharing we do!

Class is at 12:30 and 3:30; no need to bring anything.  Please let me know you are coming so I have enough space set up and supplies available!

Watercolor Class Today!

We will be learning the basics of watercoloring in this class today.  We will be using Stampin' Up! Island Indigo, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi inks along with our Blender Pens and Aqua painters.

I have four students signed up for 12:30 so if you want to attend this class, please sign up for the 3:30 class. You may bring your own Blender Pens/Aqua Painters if you have them.

Here are the three ways we will be learning today:

 - Blender Pens
 - Aqua Painters
 - Masking Tape

More tips and tricks will be provided during the class.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you cannot make these classes and want to schedule one of your own.  Yes, I can come to your home and do a class!  You invite your friends and family and I'll work with you on what you would like to make.

Watercolor Technique Class

First, I want to share with you a couple of photos from the Starburst Classes I held yesterday.  We had a lot of fun and even if we didn't have make up on, I was able to take some photos!

Next, I'd like to remind you that I'm having a Watercolor Technique class, tomorrow.  First one starts at 12:30 and the second one will start at 3:30.

Please let me know if you plan on attending and which session to attend so I have enough supplies cut for everyone.

Today, I'm off to Little Rock, Arkansas, to return our granddaughter to her parents.  It's going to be a long day, but it has been so much fun having her here with us!

Starburst Class

I have been down with my allergies since last Friday!  Finally on antibiotics and prednisone (no, not my favorite, but if it works, I'll take it!).  Went in yesterday to set up for Christmas in July which is being celebrated here in Branson, MO, from the 6th - 10th of July.

Today, I have two classes scheduled, one at 12:30 and one at 3:30 to make the Starbursts.  Class is $15.99, so when you check in for class, tell the Cashiers that you're taking the Tier 4 Class!

I have papers already cut and ready for us to make your starburst!

Come see me at the Branson Mill this afternoon!

First of July!

Wow!  Where did June go?  Well, today I'm going into the store, but forgot to post about yesterday's Wreath class!

Here are a couple of pictures I took:

First we wrapped our ring in burlap.  Then we added our flags, punched the ends, put our letters on the little flags.  All we have left to do is add our stars!

This wreath is using our current Brights designer series papers and is available for purchase at the Branson Mill Craft Village!
