Purse Style Gift Card Holders

While teaching a class with some visitors, I prepared a bunch of retired Designer Series Papers to make my purses.  These are cute, quick to make (once you get the fold down!) and can be used for so many holidays!

I also make these at Christmas time to hang on the Christmas tree for the gift cards or cash.  I put a little hang tag on the handle so you can write the person's name on it, too.

Lovely Friends

Today's share is a card I designed for our card class on Saturday, June 17th.  I hope you can join us for some fun; we'll be making four cards.  Class starts at 1 pm.

I used the new stamp set, Lovely Friends.  Who wouldn't love to receive this card?  I love Sweet Sugarplum as well for spring/summer cards.

Rainy Day = Craft Day

I don't know about you, but when it's dreary, I like to craft.

New Catalog!

Today is the "opening" day of our new catalog.  If you haven't seen one, but would like one for FREE, place a $50 or more order with me and I'll give you one!  Don't want to place an order?  I have catalogs available in my store, Desiree's Craftroom, located inside the Branson Mill, 3300 N. Mint Tin Scrapbooking Class

Last week, I also held a Mint Tin Scrapbooking Class.  

I based my tin around Father's Day.  I used my Mini Alphabet framelits for the cover and inside. I used Soft Suede Cardstock and designer series papers to cover the tin and to embellish the inside. 

Here is the tin that I upcycled for our class.

Mint Tins vary in sizes, so be sure to measure twice and cut once.  If in doubt, I usually cut a little larger so I can cut away in lieu of wasting a smaller cut piece.

Card Buffet Play Time

Yes, It's true.  I love to play with stamps, paper and ink.  Do you?  Today is the final day for Stampin' Up! items in our current catalog.  Be sure to get the items on your wish list!  

I like to hold what I call a Card Buffet as often as I can. Sometimes I use retired product to exhaust my supplies. Yes, some of these cards are Christmas cards, but they can be changed to Birthday, Sympathy, or "Just Because" cards!

What is a Card Buffet?  Well, when I prepare for a class, I tend to make more supplies than what my class attendance is.  So I package each card up and set it out on the table. Here's the cards that are currently available:

Once supplies run out for that card, I remove it from the Card Buffet.  When coming to a Card Buffet, you need to know how to stamp, emboss, and assemble cards.  If you do NOT know how to do this, I will be charging you for a class in lieu of attending the Card Buffet.  My best advice to you is to take a class (I specifically design around your needs) and then you can attend the Buffet for a minimal cost.

Card Buffet runs $5.00 for the first card with envelope and all the rest of the cards you make are $2.50.  So cost will depend on how many cards you choose to make.

Some classes go longer than others based on your stamping experience.  Schedule your card class today if you are new to stamping and want to learn some of these techniques.  Be sure to let me know what you'd like to learn so you can attend future Card Buffets!

Paper Towel Scrapbooks

I have been very busy with our new toy store and getting things ready for our new Stampin' Up! catalog! Two more days and our current catalog items will be retired. Be sure to get those items you HAVE to have today!

Be sure to request your Paper Towel Scrapbooking Class today!  This class is usually three hours long but you have access to all my tools, scraps, ribbons, etc.  So if you are a fast decision maker, you may get done sooner!

Memorial Day Thoughts

As we end this Memorial Day weekend, please be safe.  If you are traveling home, pay attention and safe travels. Thank you to all the military service men and women for sacrificing their life for our country. GOD BLESS THE USA!!
