Another Farmhouse Christmas

This is the third card we will be making on July 21st and July 30th.  If you're just joining my blog, I do both daytime and evening classes.

Today's card is another original since I stamped a few houses and just started coloring them.  Well, once done, I had to do something with them, right?

On this card, we're using two sets, Farmhouse Christmas and Blended Seasons.  We will be die-cutting the fence, house and wreaths using the coordinating dies to the Farmhouse Christmas Stamp set.  This is one of the bundles that I will have for sale after all card classes are completed (July 30th).  The Holly spray will be fussy cut -- you will be cutting these with scissors!

I hope you will join me for one of my classes soon!

Very Merry Christmas

This is the second card we will be making on July 21st, 1-3 pm, and July 30th, 6-8 pm.

Today's card was inspired by lots of people on Pinterest.  I just love this paper and hated cutting it, but these deer are too cute!  Yes, we will be fussy cutting the deer out and working with retired framelits.

The words are from Reason for the Season Stamp set which is retired and already spoken for.

I hope you will come to one of my card classes soon!  We have lots of fun and you never know what tidbit of information will be provided!

Farmhouse Christmas

Today's share is one of six cards that we will be making in our July 21st (1-3 pm) and our July 30th (6-8 pm) classes.  Some of these stamp sets will be sold after both classes have been held.  You can reserve them but will not be able to purchase until after July 30th.

This card is my own design.

I had some homes from Farmhouse Christmas stamped and colored and wanted to use them!  The words are all from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set.  The fence and stitched flag are from the coordinating framelits.

I used the Gently Falling embossing folder for snow effect.  I chose the Smoky Slate base because this is the color I used on the roof.  I then pulled in Soft Sky because I have a lot of this cardstock to use!

I hope you enjoy today's share and if you want to make this card, be sure to let me know which day you would like to attend so I have enough supplies cut for everyone.

Merry Christmas to All

This is the sixth card for our Christmas card class on July 16th.  This card was inspired by Kate M., a fellow demonstrator.

I used Real Red ribbon and the retired Bermuda Bay Glitter paper for the springs.  The words are from Merry Christmas to All stamp set which DID carry over into our new catalog!  I used the Rectangular Stitched Framelits to cut and pop up the sentiment.

I equally spaced my designer series papers by placing the one on the left and the right first.  Then I did the second and fourth one and fit in the fifth in the center.
Inside the card, I added a piece of DSP and stamped the words from this stamp set.  I love how this card turned out!

Be sure to check out my events and stop in for a class today!

Hearts Come Home

This is the fifth card we will be making on the 16th!  I love Santa and his reindeer in the sky!  This card was inspired by many cards I found on Pinterest.  I used what papers and ribbon I had on hand to make it my own.

I stamped my sentiment in Real Red and Santa and the stars in Old Olive.  I then die cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits for the words.  I popped this up on dimensionals.  All other layers are mounted using Tombow Liquid Glue.

I hope you will be able to join us for class!

Yesterday's Classes

Once again, I was so busy, I forgot to take pictures!  Held two Miura Technique classes yesterday and had a great time.  I hope if you did attend that you will share your creations with me!

If you  missed Tuesday's class, be sure to sign up for my July 14th class from 1-3 pm.  Hope over to Facebook, Desiree's Craftroom, and select the event.  Be sure to select going versus interested so a seat is reserved for you!  If you're not on Facebook, be sure to call or email me with your reservation.

Also, I added a third Christmas Card class in July for July 30th from 6-8 pm.  Once again, I need to know you are coming so enough supplies are cut and ready!

Merry Patterns

Today's share is using a retired hostess set.  How many of you have this one?

I used Shaded Spruce and Old Olive on this card, pulling colors from the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Papers.  I stamped my words in Shaded Spruce and cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits which are still available.  I then popped it up on dimensionals.  Inspiration from Susan S. on Pinterest.

I hope you will be able to attend one of my many July classes.  Just be sure to let me know which classes you want to attend so I have enough supplies cut and ready!

Labels to Love

This is the third of six cards for my July 16th Card Class.

Using Shaded Spruce, I stamped my poinsettia from retired stamp set Reason for the Season. I then stamped the inside of the poinsettia using Real Red.  The words are from Labels to Love.  Inspiration for this card came from Pinterest user Sandi M.

I think this one is my favorite . . can you guess why?

Merry Everything

This is the second card we will be making on July 16th, from 6-8 pm, for my Christmas Card class.  Remember to RSVP so I have enough supplies cut.  Follow me on Facebook (Desiree's Craftroom) and check out my Events schedule or my Upcoming Events on this page.

This card was inspired by Mackenzie M.  I played with different stamp sets on this card, but ended up mounting the Merry Christmas from Merry Everything.

I stamped it, punched it out using the Everyday Label Punch.  Then I went to retired punches and pulled out my slot punch to adhere my ribbon slides. I love Shaded Spruce and Real Red together for Christmas, don't you?

Christmas Card Classes

I have been so busy finding all different kinds of retired designer series papers for us to play with making our Christmas cards.  I really hope you enjoy these cards over the next few weeks.  Check my Events tab on Facebook, or the Upcoming Events on here.  I've updated and made the same classes available in the afternoon and some evenings.

Be sure to let me know you are planning to attend so I have enough supplies cut.  I have a ton of classes scheduled this month, so I will need time to prepare!

This first card is one that was inspired by Leanne M.

I used the Reason for the Season stamp set which will be available for purchase after all my classes are completed.  You can reserve it by letting me know you want it at class!  I also used the Nested Framelits from the Free As A Bird bundle.

I searched through Pinterest for Under the Mistletoe DSP and found lots of inspiration.  Do you have a pack of designer series papers that you need to cut and use?  Check it out on Pinterest!
