Last Chance - Christmas Cards in July!

I hope you will join us tonight, at Desiree's Emporium, from 6-8 PM, to make these six cards!  If you want these cards but cannot make class, be sure to let me know!  I'll create card kits for you--you will need to have stamps to finish them!  My card kits have all the supplies you need to put together.  You use your own adhesive, dimensionals, stamps, ink, and dies.

Botanical Butterfly DSP

Today, I'm featuring one of the cards I made for my Aug 6th card party from 6-8 pm.  

I'm using retired cardstock, Sweet Sugar Plum and basic black.  This adds color to the black and white designer series papers.  If you want, you can even color in the butterflies!

More Beautiful You!

This is the second card we'll be making today!  We're using the same papers from our class last year, using a different lady and making this into an everyday card -- celebrate -- ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!

The third card we're making is the rainy day lady.  I love how this card turned out!  We're stamping her on designer series paper and mounting her on Tranquil Tide.  Wishing you Brighter Days to come can be for someone who just lost a pet, a loved one, or the promotion they were really wanting!  

I hope to see you this afternoon from 1-3 pm!

Beautiful You

Class/Party reminder:  We're making three cards using the Beautiful You stamp set.  Today's share is the first of three that we will be making on Saturday, July 27th, from 1-3 pm. 

There are three ladies in this stamp set and we're going to use them all!  This is the lady dancing.  The card base and striped papers are left over from another class we had!  I love how this turned out.  Although my sentiment is retired, you could put whatever words you have on hand for our dancing lady! 

If you would like these as a kit, let me know -- you will need  your own stamp sets to complete the cards.

Sailing Home Today!

Today I'm hosting the Sailing Home Party.  We'll be making three cards -- one using Petal Promenade and Free As a Bird (words).  The other two are using High Tide and Sailing Home!

For this card, we're using both High Tide and Sailing Home.  This is the card I made for my Iowa Inkers swap.

Designer Papers Scraps

This is the sixth and final card we will be making on July 21st and July 30th.  

This card is another original that I made a few years back using the retired snowflake embossing folder.  This year, we're using the retired Pine Bough embossing folder.  

I used what Christmas Designer Series Paper scraps I had to make the candles.  Does the flame look familiar?  I used the retired bird punch to make the flames.  We're also going to use the Sprig punch to make the boughs in front of the candles.

Labels to Love

This is the fifth card we will be making on July 21st and July 30th.  This card was CASEd - Copy and Share Everything - from Judy M.  

I didn't change a thing on this card because I loved every bit of it.  From the embossing folder to the Blended Seasons dies, this card is beautiful.

We're using the RETIRED stamp set Labels to Love and this will be for sale after all my Christmas card classes (Jul 30th).

Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper

This is the fourth card we will be making on July 21st and July 30th.  

For this card, we're using the RETIRED designer series papers, Home for Christmas.  The stamp set is Merry Christmas to All and is a current stamp set.  My "merry" die is a retired die; however, Merry Christmas to All has a coordinating die set that also has Merry in it.

    

This card was inspired by Michelle J.  Whenever I go through a package of designer series papers, I turn to Pinterest to get ideas on how other crafters used the papers.  If you have this paper in your stash, I'm providing you with some more ideas on how to cut and use them!
