All the Little Things

I love to try to expand my Paper Pumpkin kits. This one is April's kit, All the Little Things. To stretch this kit, I cut some of the greenery in half and used on two cards.

I used my blending brush and colored the white piece of cardstock because I ran out of the ones the kit provided.

And I did make some as the kit suggested.

I still have enough to make four more cards, but wanted to share what is done.

Come back tomorrow to see cards I made using the Exploring In Colors kit for May!

Designer Series Papers, Oh My

Do you have volumes of designer series paper that you just don't want to cut?  Or maybe you just have some pieces left over.  Today's share are some items I made for kids, which I will be selling at the Kimberling Area Senior Center in August!

First up is the chunky pad. I covered it with ?? You guessed it, Stampin' Up! Designer Paper. As you can see, I'm including a small box of crayons as well. This is for kids to color and the inside is just paper.

The other item I made is Pencil boxes. I used some heavier retired designer paper to create the boxes and placed critter erasers on the pencils. I dressed up the packaging with a little "For You" tag.

Now any of these items are good for party gifts, stocking stuffers, or for a reward for a job well done. Although I don't have any more of the coloring designer paper, I will be making these with other papers. Can you pick out the two that I did in the photo?

I have lots more to share with you so be sure to come back tomorrow!

Handmade Bookmarks

I know it's been a long time since I posted here.  I've been busy with new Stampin' Up! product and selling retired product.  Of course, that meant that my Craft Room was in a constant state of MESS!

So today, I'm sharing some hand made bookmarks I've been working on.  The Corner book marks are more for kids or those who are young at heart!  The Tree book marks are three layers to ensure sturdiness.  The backside has newsprint designer series papers on it.

The owl bookmark on the right does have eyes now!!

As you may know, I do still have crafting/cardmaking classes in my home.  If you would like to set a date, to craft or make cards, please get in touch me.

Thinking of You

Thinking of You. . .can be for any or no occasion at all.  This type of card is good to have on hand for that moment.  The Awash in Beauty Designer Series papers are going away, so if you like all the cards you've seen this week, be sure to get your pack soon!

On the first card, I used up paper scraps from the angled card I posted here.  By adding a cut out flower and leaves along with a sentiment and this card is ready to send!

On this card, I added the designer paper to the Merry Merlot piece.  Popping it up on dimensionals brings it out.  Then add your sentiment.  I fussy cut the smaller flowers from the designer paper to fill in all the white space.

As you can see on this card, I took the extra piece of designer paper and added it to a piece of white cardstock.  Adding another fussy cut flower and leaves, and a sentiment, complete this card.

If this last card looks familiar, it's because I made a birthday card using a similar look.  I only embossed the Polished Pink piece with the Cascading Ruffles 3D folder.  I then added the "scrap" of paper from the angle cards.  Last is adding the sentiment.

I love having cards available for any occasion.  I have some of these cards made,  without sentiments, so I can add a sentiment if I'm running short on my supplies.  I hope you've enjoyed this week's posts.

Feminine Birthday Cards

I'm still working on the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Papers.  These make it so easy to create your own cards.  The coordinating colors are on the back of the papers.

I know it's hard to read, but I wanted you to know where to look!  For this paper, I could use Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink and So Saffron.  Lots of choices!

The first card, I glued my paper to the cardstock and then ran it through the Stampin' Cut and Embossing machine using the Cascading Ruffles 3D embossing folder.  It does change the look of the card, don't you think?

If you have any questions on any of these cards, be sure to leave a comment below.  I'd love to have you in for a card class!

Masculine Cards

Today's share are cards I made using He's The Man Specialty Designer Series papers from Stampin' Up!  Lots of variations and definitely for the men in your life!  With card bases already, I was able to add the embellishments quickly.  Most pieces used were included in the paper pack!

By the Bay Card Class Reschedule

Today's share are cards I had planned for our March class.  It was cancelled due to health issues.  If you'd like to make this set of cards, contact me to schedule a "play date."  I'll be making up new cards for April class.

I used the By the Bay Bundle for these cards.  I saw a card with this angle layering and started playing with different ideas.

This second card has no sentiment on it as I was leaving it up to you to decide what to put on it.  I was inspired to make this card by my sister, Marilyn.

This third card is for the advanced stampers, who like to die cut and dress up their cards.

I hope these inspire you to create your own masterpieces!
