Calypso Coral Base

Because I was trying to finish using this pack of Designer Series Papers, I tried a variety of verses to see what looked good on each Stand Up Post It Note Holder.

All of these have the Calypso Coral base and then I used some coordinating colors to pop the designer series paper and others I just adhered the designer series paper to the cardstock.

Be sure to leave me a comment on which verse is your favorite!  Also let me know which is your favorite color combination.

So Glad We're Friends

Today's share are Stand Up Post It Note Holders that I made with the verse, "So Glad We're Friends."  This is from the Best Yet retired stamp set.

This first one is made with Wisteria Wonder Cardstock and retired Designer Series Papers.  I love how the words pop up too.  Remember that these are refillable so they make a great gift.

This second one is made with Lucky Limeade retired cardstock and retired Designer Series Papers.

If you like the colors, but not the words, remember that I can make customized changes quickly while I'm at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  These can also be shipped fairly easily, too!

Ps. We are thoroughly enjoying our time with our grandsons!

Variety of Stand-Up Post It notes

Here is Quinn, my great-nephew with one of the projects I worked on and he helped with while visiting us at the Branson Mill.

I will be sharing a couple of these each day so you can see the variety that are available and what you can do with your scrapbooking/designer series papers and cardstock.  These make wonderful little gifts any time -- a very cute pick-me-up, too!

This first batch of Stand Up Post It Notes all have the same verse, but different color patterns.

Be sure to leave me a comment on which verse is your favorite!

Last 5 x 8 Notepad Holder

This notepad holder I made using the retired DSP you have seen this week.  I was trying to use up the complete stack of paper so next I will be posting a  few of the Stand Up Post It Notes next.

This notepad is made with Wisteria Wonder cardstock and I punched the flowers out with the Pansy Punch and the Blossom Punch.

I added a jewel to the center of the blossom flower and popped it up on dimensionals.

Another 5 X 8 Notepad Holder

Today's share is another 5 X 8 notepad cover.  This is made from Wisteria Wonder Cardstock and the same retired Designer Series Paper.  I added a strip of 1-1/2 X 5 of Wisteria Wonder on top of the DSP and then popped the blossom up on dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy today's share!

5 X 8 Notepads

Here is another Notepad Cover that I have available for you!

This is the same dimensions as yesterday's post, only I used Wisteria Wonder cardstock and retired Designer Series Papers.  I also pulled in some Calypso Coral for the label, using the Labels Framelits.  The DSP measures 5 X 8-1/4.

I then cut a 1-1/2 X 5 strip of Wisteria Wonder and added to the front to simulate a belly band.  I added a strip of 1 X 4-3/4 DSP.  I stamped the words in Lucky Limeade and added some jewels to highlight the words.  These are from the Feels Good stamp set.

Be sure to let me know if you have any questions!

Vacation Time

Yes, I'm going on vacation to visit my two grandsons in Lakeland, Florida!  Yay!! I'm so excited to be able to go down and see them again.

In the meantime, I'll be posting some items that I've crafted before leaving.  These items are available for sale at the Branson Mill Craft Village and you can also email me to let me know you may be interested in purchasing one or you would like to attend a class on how to make these.  I could do a combination class where you make one 3 X 5 and one 5 X 7 notepad cover with the notepads.

So, for today's share, here is a 5 X 7 Notepad that I made. Again, I'm using retired Designer Series Papers from Stampin' Up! to use what I have on hand.

For this notepad cover, I used a full sheet of retired Lucky Limeade cardstock.  It is scored at 5-1/4 and 5-3/4 inches. The Designer Series Paper is also retired and no longer available for purchase.  The DSP is cut to 5 X 8-1/4.  Then I layered Lucky Limeade on top of the DSP and popped the blossom up on dimensionals.

Be sure to stop by Desiree's Craftroom at the Branson Mill Craft Village and see what I have available for you!

Paper Pumpkin!

Paper Pumpkin is now 3 years old!  If you haven't tried Paper Pumpkin or if you have and want to rejoin, you can!  I have a Paper Pumpkin board on Pinterest that you can get a variety of ideas of what to do with your kit should you not like the suggested choices Stampin' Up! provides.

And did you know there is a Facebook Page, Paper Pumpkin Fan Club, where you can get even more inspiration from those who decided to use their creativity juices and think outside the box?

Here are the two cards I made using July, 2015, Paper Pumpkin kit.  This kit was on the Past Kits available list, but when I checked today, they are no longer available.  BUT, using these ideas, you can use the new stamp set, A Nice Cuppa (140683), and use your own washi tape and designer series papers to dress up your cards!

These two cards are really adorable and I cannot wait to make some more of these using my designer series papers and stamps.

Paper Pumpkin is delivered right to your door each month and you can opt out before the 10th of each month.  One thing, though, is that you do NOT know what is coming before the 15th of the month.  Stampin' Up! releases a video and other demonstrators will post them on Facebook.  If you want it to be a surprise, don't watch the videos!

Be sure to let me know if you have any questions about Paper Pumpkin.

Weekly Deals!

This week's deals are sure to be popular!  The metal rimmed pearls are a great addition to any project and with Mother's Day right around the corner, you may want to stock up on these!  The gift box punch board and the two sets of thinlits and framelits are a great deal as well if you haven't already gotten them.

Do you know the difference between a framelit and a thinlit? Framelits are just frames around an image.  Thinlits have more details to them like the Window in the Hearth and Home set.

I also want to welcome Phyllis Barnaby to my Stampin' Up! team!  Hobby demonstrators are welcome and you DON'T need to do anything more after you sign up to become a demonstrator and get your FREE product.  Remember until the 31st of March, you get $155 of product (this includes Sale-A-Bration items) for $99.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
