Branson Visitors' Class

Sandra had come to the Branson Mill last year and visited with me a little during her visit.  This year, Sandra brought Pat with her and together, they took a four-item gift class to learn how to make some items for their group back in Texas for Christmas ideas.

Easter Message Bible Book Marks

On antibiotics for my infection. Hope to be crafting more today.

I was able to make 9 bookmarks and 6 Hershey Bar Wraps yesterday using the Easter Message Stamp Set. I thought my sample was too plain so look for updated pictures later today.

I did paper piece the draping and they look much better.

I can fussy cut while I'm sitting on the couch, so I'm keeping these fairly simple due to not feeling well!

Paper Piecing

I have been so busy with getting my store updated that I have slipped postings. I'm also taking some online course work so it's been really crazy.  Today's share is called paper piecing.

I stamped the image on cardstock and then fussy cut it out and added it to the top of the original stamped image.

I don’t know about you, but I get real sentimental about my Stampin' Up! In-Colors.  I am sad to see Mint Macaron going away.  Which of these five colors is your favorite?  

These colors officially retire the end of May, but if you have been around awhile you know they rarely make it that long. Most of our In Color stock sells out well before the end of the catalog.

Stampin' Up! Easter Message Bookmark

I wanted to do something different for a bookmark, so I stamped the cross from Easter Message and then mounted the words from the same set on dimensionals above the cross. If you would like to special order these, I can make them for your Sunday School classes.  I just need a little time to craft, so please place your order early!

I used the Project Life Corner Rounder to round the corners. I'll be putting these out in the next couple of days.

Of course, I also made my Corner Bookmarks as well. I used some of my favorite verses and the FREE Sale-A-Bration DSP on these.

Easter Items On Display

Because I'm going to be gone next week, I've started crafting and putting out Easter Items for sale.  

Here is the Hershey Bar Wrap, using the words from the new Stampin' Up! stamp set, Easter Message. 

I was also able to make up three Hershey Kiss Easter Baskets and these Bunny Fry Boxes.

Hallet Bag Class

Here is the Hallet Bag I created while instructing the Hallet Bag Class this past Saturday.  

I used retired designer series papers to make these and each bag includes four coordinating cards.

I still have three kits, using the Black and Very Vanilla colors shown here.

Explosion Scrapbooks

Here is the scrapbook I made when instructing the Explosion Scrapbook Class held on Wednesday, last week.  

The belly band is blank so the person can either add a photo or the person's name to the front.  I also left the four white panels alone so if you wanted to, you can make these into journalling spots or even add a photo frame like I do with the baby Explosion books.

Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' Kits For Sale

Don't forget we have the Hallett Bag and Four Cards Class at 12:30 pm.  

Here are the Simply Scrappin' Kits that I have for sale. All of these kits are retired and I only have a limited number of them.  If you have ever used a scrappin' kit for cards - you know that you can get 40 cards or more per kit.  These are all "new," never opened.  I'm attaching photos from the catalogs so you can see the variety of papers, stickers, and cardstock that are included in each kit.  

Not sure if you want it?  Let me know and I'll bring them into the Branson Mill so you can see them.  Keep in mind that I won't open the packages.

Hallett Bag and Four Card Class

Well, I have supplies cut and ready for tomorrow's class.  We will learn how to make the Hallett bag, shown below, and four coordinating cards to go inside.

Class starts at 12:30, on Saturday afternoon, at Desiree's Craftroom, located inside the Branson Mill Craft Village. Class costs $29.95 and you will receive a written tutorial as well.  These little bags are a lot of fun to make and I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to receive one of these!
