June 2020

June's calendar uses one of my favorite sets, Sailing Home.

The ship's wheel is one of the dies that coordinate with the stamp set. The papers are from the Come Sail Away Suite. Did you know you can buy the whole suite with just one number?  It makes things easy so you don't miss out on the coordinating product.

I used Mossy Meadow for the sentiment.

Check my class schedule for which October class will work for you!

May's Calendar

Today's share is my May calendar. We're using paper from Garden Lane Designer Series Paper which is layered on the top half of the calendar.

We're using Daisy Delight and Flourishing Phrases stamp sets for the two flowers. Daisy is punched and the Flourishing Phrase flower is fussy cut (cut out with scissors!). Colors are Daffodil delight and Merry Merlot with just a dot of Early Expresso for the daily.

We'll be crafting these calendars the whole month of October. Check out all the dates (afternoons and evenings) that I have scheduled.

April 2020

I love April's calendar!

I used Garden Green card stock for the background.  I stamped the solid cross in Garden Green ink onto Soft  Sea Foam cardstock.  The stamp set is Hold onto Hope in the annual catalog.  This set has coordinating framelits as well.  I die cut the solid cross in silver foil and mounted this onto the stamped cross.  I popped the cross up on dimensionals.

I then stamped the sentiment, also in Hold onto Hope, in Garden Green and used the coordinating framelit to cut it out.  I added dimensionals to the two ends so when popped up, it's the same level as the cross.

I hope you will attend one of my calendar classes that I'm holding in October.  If Tuesdays don't work for you and you want to attend, let me know which day works for you!

March 2020

March's calendar is for those who are Irish or celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

I used the Garden Lane designer series papers in our 2019-2020 Annual Catalog for the background.  I then pulled my colors from the paper -- Mossy Meadow and Mint Macaron and used these as background circles.  I used my heart punch to punch out three hearts to make the shamrock.

Remember, you can come to any of the three classes in October to make your calendar!  Just check in as going to reserve your spot on my Facebook page, Desiree's Emporium, and go to Events.

February 2020

For the February calendar, we're using some retired products from Stampin' Up!  The XOXO designer series papers are leftovers from years ago and I thought these would make a great background for February!

Did you get the Party Panda stamp set during Sale-A-Bration last year?  If so, you'll be able to make this one at home!  I stamped the Panda with the heart on whisper white and used the retired Circle framelits to cut him out.  I layered him on Real Red Glimmer paper.  I then popped him up on dimensionals.  I used Smoky Slate  cardstock for the background.

See you soon!

Are You READY?

Yes, the next few months are going to fly by so I thought we'd get a head start on our 2020 calendars.  I will be hosting classes on October 10, 17, and the 24th for those who would like to attend.  Supplies are limited due to retired papers being used.

January's calendar features the new Holiday Stamp set, Snowman Season.  The punch is available as well and you can save $$$ by getting it as a bundle for 10% off.

I also used the Let It snow Designer Series Paper for the background and added the felt scarf which is part of the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit.

Come back tomorrow for February's calendar!

Flap Card

Today's share is the third card we will be making in tonight's class.  This is a flap card and very simple to create.  I'm using retired foil papers, Silver Foil Papers, and thick Whisper White cardstock.

Simple but elegant; this card can have many different sentiments on it.  Wedding, birthday, thanks, get well, thinking of you, etc.

I hope to see you in card class tonight!

Magnolia Lane

Today's share is another simple card using Magnolia Lane. I cased (copy and share everything!) this from a card I made years ago using the Pansy punch and stamp set.

I used both flowers in the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. First, the smaller magnolia bud and versamark to create the background. I then stamped the larger full bloom magnolia on whisper white cardstock and fussy cut it out. I popped this up on dimensionals.

Check out the new ribbon--it's one of our new In-Colors. I really love the look of linen and ribbon.

We will also be making this card on Sep 10, at 6 PM.

Noble Peacock Foils

Today's share is a card I cased from a fellow demonstrator, Tracy E. I love the elegance of this card yet it is simple to make.  If you haven't seen the Noble Peacock Foil papers, be sure to stop in and check them out.

We will be making this card on September 10th in our 6 PM class.  I placed a  Pearlized Doily on top of the solid foil.  I then put the sentiment on top of the doily.  The whole sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

I cancelled classes yesterday due to still experience sciatic never pain.  I've had two shots in the last five days -- hoping for more relief with Physical Therapy starting next week.  As of today, I'm able to stand straight and walk without bending over.  That's a big improvement.
