Playtime

A friend of mine, Sandra, came over to have some playtime.  Because she helped me a great deal, I was pleased that she wanted to play!

This is the card we made using a Z fold angled card base.  We used both retired High Tide and current, After the Storm, stamp sets.

We enjoyed our time together and caught up on how both families were doing.  If you want to come play, let's get you on my schedule!

More Expressions in Color

These are some cards I made from the June 2021, Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Inspiration came from our Facebook group, Paper Pumpkin Fan Club, and some are my own.  The first and second card use Gorgeous Grape and Polished Pink card base.  All other supplies were in the kit.

Since we had some extra green notecards, my sister and I cut them and created this third card.  I'm not great at adding twine or string to my cards, but I tried.

This card, I stamped the Bumble Bee card base with the flower stamp in the kit.  I wanted a little more umph to it so I added half a doily to the front.

Using up the notecard pieces, I mounted the Evening Evergreen notecard base to Thick Basic White cardstock.  I stamped the flower all over the green patterned paper provided in the kit.  I used the Bumble Bee Blend and colored the backside of the Merci vellum.

This last card, was made using up leftovers.  The other half of the doily, notecard base and patterned paper.  I used the Evening Evergreen blend on the backside of the Thanks to make it pop!

I hope you enjoy these Paper Pumpkin shares.  I'll be back tomorrow with some more cards.

Expressions In Color, June 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Today's share are some alternative cards my sister, Marilyn, and I made via Google Duo.  After we spent two hours making cards, I wanted to finish up my supplies so I made a few more.  I still haven't exhausted my supplies, but I'm happy with the cards I made.

The first two cards were made according to the kit, other than we didn't use the second card as a note card.  Instead we mounted it on thick basic white card stock.

This next card, I found on our Facebook Paper Pumpkin Fan Club page.  I didn't have alternative papers that I liked, so I pulled out my retired Buffalo Check stamp and made my own with the new in color Fresh Fresia.  The card base is a basic 8-1/2 X 5-1/2 card base.  All the other supplies were from the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

This is how it looks opened.

We then played with markers, both alcohol and Stampin' Write markers.  With the blends, the colors were a little too dark for me, so I used 91% alcohol and a cotton swap to pull off some of the color.  I always color the backside of the vellum.

Many Manly Moments Father's Day Cards

Do you have your Father's Day cards done?  Hopefully with some of these ideas, you've created your own special card for that special someone.

Today's share are Father's Day cards I made using the Many Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love the die-cut windows and the fact that there are three different patterns.

All of the Happy are in Pool Party.  Then I used the reverse pieces to add more color to some of the cards.

For all the Father's out there, I wish you a very special Father's Day tomorrow!

Father's Day - A Good Man

I was so happy to see the stamp set, A Good Man, carried over into our new catalog.  It has so many good stamps for Fathers, brothers, etc.  Great for birthdays, graduations, or any masculine celebration!

Here are a few cards I made for Father's Day, using different colors for hair and clothes using our Stampin' Blends.  Also note that we have a boy and a girl in this stamp set!

Tomorrow I will post Father's Day cards using the Many Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I still have pieces left over to make Birthday cards!

Love You Lots Paper Pumpkin - Father's Day Cards

Here are a few cards I made using the Love You Lots Paper Pumpkin kit.  First is the Gift Card holders -- one with a belt/buckle and the other has a bow tie.  Both cards have "Happy Father's Day" stamped on the slide out.

These next two cards I used scraps from the kit and pieces that I started (but never finished).

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you some cards made using A Good Man stamp set!

Happy Birthday Cards

Today I'm sharing a batch of Birthday Cards I made using scraps.  Long story short, my sister, Marilyn, sent me a video on using those scraps.  Since I already had my stuff pulled out, I started crafting these Birthday cards.

The first card, I was using up some Designer Series Papers and a stamped image that I had colored, but never put on a card.

The second card, I cut up the Back to Black Designer Series Papers I had cut for a class in the mail.  Since no one signed up, I had a lot to play with.  I made these in both Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo.

For the third card, I have a lot of embossed card stock that I set aside.  You know, you try it but don't like it?  Well this is one of those pieces.  On this card, it's perfect.  The image I had five stamped and ready to cut out.  Added a Happy Birthday and used the Double Scalloped Punch and dimensionals to make it pop.

This last card, I found some strips of Designer Series Papers and another embossed piece of card stock.  I simply layered everything and added the die cut Happy Birthday I had in a baggie.

I'm sharing these today, because it is Marilyn's Birthday!  Happy Special day to you, and hope you enjoy your special time.

Here's To You, March 2021 Paper Pumpkin

After my open house event on Saturday, I cleaned off my crafting table and pulled out March's Paper Pumpkin Kit, Here's to You.  My sister also gets Paper Pumpkin so we decided to do this kit together.  Since she lives in Pennsylvania and I'm in Missouri, we "Facetime" our crafting sessions.

First, I showed Marilyn how to stamp the "Happy Birthday" three times using her Stamparatus.  This is one of the original designs.

We then moved on and cut up one of the fronts to make a "window pane" effect.  This is the second one I made offsetting the cuts (I bloopered on the cut but made it work!).

We also cut up one of the envelope liners to use and background designer series papers.  I used one of the sponged sunburst on this card as well.  The sentiment is from After the Storm stamp set.

We then went to stenciling.  First we used the open tree stencil from the kit and sponged trees onto a scrap white piece of card stock. We also used the Sunburst stencil which was a bonus in this kit.  We later used this piece on a card.

Lastly, I also made the other suggested design:

I have lots of supplies left over and look forward to making more cards with this kit!  I hope you enjoyed today's share.
