Christmas Money/Gift Card Holder

Today's holder is for Christmas ideas.  We're using Balmy Blue and Pacific Point card stock (colors selected from the Designer Series Papers).  One of the many great pluses for Stampin' Up! is the color coordination in papers, cardstock, and inks.

We're using Snowflake Splendor DSP, So Sweetly Stitched Dies, and the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set.

The inside shows you how to stack your money!  Also, remember, that you could put a pair of earrings on a card and insert in the slot in lieu of money or gift card.  There are many different ideas for these holders.  Use your imagination!

Feminine Gift Card Holder

This is the second Money/Gift Card holder we will be making in our next class.  We're using retired Petal Garden DSP and retired Sweet Sugar Plum for this card.  The stamp is from the December 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit, Something for Everything.

This one doesn't have a belly band, but you could certainly add one.  I also didn't put two layers on the inside to keep it more feminine.  Remember, you can fill this with money, gift cards or credit card.

Be sure to sign up for one of the two classes -- one at night and one during the day.

Money/Gift Card Holder

This is one of three money/gift card holders that I designed for our class on Nov 24th at 6 PM and Dec 3rd at 2 pm.  I hope you can join us for one of these two classes!

This first holder I designed for a guy.  This holder has a belly band but can easily just go without the band.  Let's Celebrate is great for Birthdays, Graduation, Job Promotion, Retirement, etc.  Stamp set used was from a Paper Pumpkin kit, Something for Everything.  I used the retired word window punch to separate the words!

Be sure to sign up for one of these two classes!

Slim-Line Card

This is my first attempt at a Slim-Line card.  They seem to be all the rage!

These are great if you need room for lots of signatures.  The downside?  Each card is 8 X 9-1/4".  I've searched Pinterest and there are a lot of great ideas for inspiration.  If you haven't done your Christmas cards yet, you may want to make a couple of "special" cards for family.  They do fit inside the business envelopes.

Again, I'm still using up Animal Expedition Designer Series Papers, but I thought this would make a great baby shower or Welcome Baby card.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and,

Happy Crafting,

Hot Cocoa Slider

Today's share is a Slider card for Hot Cocoa.  You can use this style as a regular card, Hot Cocoa, Apple Cider or even Popcorn!

Now you're probably wondering where is that paper in the catalog? It's not.  Whenever I'm creating, I don't use my good Stampin' Up! papers.  I'll pull out some old paper stacks and start playing.

I used the Tags, Tags, Tags stamp set and coordinating dies to complete the front.

This one turned out pretty cute, so I decided to package it up and put it out for sale!

Have a safe and beautiful weekend!

Customized Anniversary Card

Today's share is a card base that I had made up a couple of months ago.  I was going to be adding sentiments to them, but never got around to doing.  Now, I'm glad I didn't!  A customer came in looking for an Anniversary card.  Once she saw that I could customize it, She wanted to know if I could add the number 6.  And then, can I add his name?  Well, of course!

Here's the card with the custom front.

Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the number 6 in Flirty Flamingo and then added the happy anniversary with Real Red.  Zo's name is stamped in Real Red as well.  I used the Rectangle dies to cut the sentiment and then the So Sweetly dies for a background.  And all I did was show her a bunch of card bases I had waiting for sentiments!  She selected this one and she was so happy!

I love sharing my cards and seeing people with a smile on their face.  (No, I couldn't see it, but it was in her eyes!)  Yes, we are under a mandate to wear masks indoors.  I'm grateful my customers do!

Desiree'

Double Wonder Experience

As a demonstrator, I receive all kinds of training and ideas.  This set of cards is made from a piece of Designer Series Papers, Animal Expedition, measuring 6 X 12.  Shannon West held an on line demonstrator event and I love this idea.  I'm thinking of holding a class here in Branson, so if you're interested, let me know!

Another great idea, is to not add the sentiment until you need the card!  Come back tomorrow for a card I customized for a customer.

Desiree'

Christmas Money Cards

If you haven't already, be sure to go out and VOTE today!

Today's share are three different Money Holders I made for Christmas.  I sold out and wanted to have a few more on hand.

You simply slide the belly band off, open the front, and fold your bills in half and line them up inside the bottom flap!  Or, you can put a gift card in these as well.  They will fit in an A2 envelope for easy mailing.

I hope you are enjoying the weather--Fall is still here in Branson and loving the cooler air.

Happy Crafting,

Desiree'

Using Your DSP

Hopefully, you took advantage of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) sale we had in October!  I'm finding all kinds of card bases and lots of DSP I haven't used up, so I started playing.

Today's share is a card base we did years ago, but I still have 3-4 bases so I made this cute birthday card using Animal Expedition DSP.  The sentiment is from an old Paper Pumpkin kit, December 2019, Something for Everything!

I punched the Kangaroo and Giraffe heads from the DSP using a 3/4" circle punch.  I then punched the sentiment to add a little highlight to the circles.

Here's the inside:

This will make a great Children's Birthday card!
