Critter Boxes

Today is the last day to order from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog and the 2016 Occasions Catalog.

My critter boxes have been doing well at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  Here are a few that I've made in the last couple of days.  I'm now also making kits that are available to purchase for these critters.  All you need to put them together will be some strong adhesive (Tombow Liquid Glue or Tear N Tape, both from Stampin' Up!).  It's also nice to have a bone folder and a chalk marker for some of accent points.

When you purchase the kits, you will get a written tutorial with lots of photos to help you put it together.  Let me know which critter you would like and whether you want it made or in a kit!

I still have to make more Angry Bird, Fox, Raccoon, and Frog.  Right now, I only have one Frog made up but I have four Frog kits available to purchase.  I also have four Penguin kits available to purchase.

Remember that I have a tab at the top, Crafts for Sale, that you can click on and browse through what I currently have for sale.  And I do take custom orders!

New Corner Bookmarks

Here are some cute corner book marks I made.  I love how they turned out and the Not Quite Navy cardstock is retired.   Not in Branson?  Don't worry!  If you see it here and want to purchase it, just let me know.

Let me know what you think of these.  Are these something you would like to learn how to do?  Should I put them as an item for the Four Item Gift Class?

I look forward to hearing from you!

More 3 X 5 Notepads

Here are some new 3 X 5 Notepads that I have available for purchase.  These are made so they are refillable -- I suggest you give an extra pad when giving as a gift so the person getting this knows it is refillable!

I used magnets from my refrigerator since I now have a stainless steel one and I had too many magnets for the sides! This is going to be another item that you can select as part of the 4-Item Gift class should you decide to take this class!

Sweet Treats

Here are some Sweet Treats I made rather quickly on Friday last week.  With my Four Item Gift Class, I demonstrated how to make these cute little pouches.  Well before I could get the ones from Wednesday finished and bagged, someone wanted to buy them.

Now I had none for my shelves to sell!  So I worked to get these all done.  I love how they turned out with the variety of colors!

I packaged these up in sets of three and now have them available at my store.

I will post class photos tomorrow, but for today, enjoy these Sweet Treats!  And remember, they hold also hold cash or gift cards as well as candy!

Sweet Treats - Four Item Class

Here are the two finished Sweet Treats I made with Linda and Judy on Wednesday.  The sweet treats didn't stay very long as someone bought them before I was finished making them!

Come back tomorrow for more Sweet Treats!

Here are some pictures of Linda and Judy working on two of their four projects.

Just let me know in advance which four items you would like to make so we can schedule your class today!

Critter Bears

If you are following me on Twitter, you may have seen this first photo on Saturday.  I love these little critter boxes and today's share is the Bears that I made.

I used my Hearts Framelits as well as my circle punches and the smallest oval punch.  For his tongue, I used the word window punch.

Next up is the owl and then I need to make more frogs and raccoons!  I'm so glad that visitors to Branson enjoy these little critters.

Drop me a line if you have any questions on how to create this little bear!

New 2016-2018 In Colors!

If you haven't already seen these in person, stop by Desiree's Craftroom at the Branson Mill Craft Village!  These colors are absolutely gorgeous -- pictures don't do them justice!

First, a photo of all five In Colors.  Can you guess the names of the new colors?  No looking up in the new catalog if you have one already.

Here are close ups of each color.  I am in love!!

Don't have a new catalog?  I have some for sale for $5.00, or if you placed a $50 or more order with me in the last six months, you can stop by my store at the Mill and pick your copy up today!  Don't want to pay $5.00 for your catalog? Simply place an order with me over $50, and you can get your free catalog!

If your wish list is long (meaning over $99 worth!), you can sign up to be come a demonstrator and get free shipping plus you get to choose $125 worth of product for $99!  What's the catch?  NONE.  You don't have to do home parties.  You don't have to sell the product (it really sells itself).  And if you don't want to purchase any more product (who doesn't want more??), you don't have to.  Simple as that.  If you want to remain a demonstrator, to get the 20% off of all products, all you need to do is purchase (or sell to others) $300 in each quarter.  That's three months to meet the quota.  Again, if you don't, no big deal, you just won't get the 20% off of your purchases!

Inspiration from Home

These cards are the regular size, 5-1/2 X 4-1/4, but I thought these would be so cute to send to those that you haven't heard from in a while.  Remember the commercials, Phone Home?  Well, here's your phone!

These are cut out with our new Cricut Explore, using the marker to write the cord and "Hello".  I then placed a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, 5-1/4 X 8, scored at 4", inside.  I adhered the back first and then the front.  That way, the inside stayed still while I added adhesive to the phone pieces!

I will have these for sale in my store, Desiree's Craftroom, so be sure to let me know if you'd like some of these and what colors!

Here is one that I saved because the paper slipped on the mat.  I simply cut where the piece down to 4 X 5-1/4 and adhered to a Thick Whisper White Cardstock that measured, you guessed it!, 5-1/2 X 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4.

You don't have to use white for insides, but remember it must be a light color to make writing and reading easy on the eyes!

Six Nugget Totes

I was watching some You-Tube videos and was inspired by Jeanette Cobb, another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, to make these!  What a stinkin' cute idea!  I will have written instructions available soon, but in the meantime, here is my share!

These are super easy to make and if you don't already know how to wrap your chocolates, be sure to add a glue dot only on one end, not both!

Remember, these can be customized with any words as well as any colors!

Twitterpated Gift Ideas

Today's share are two different projects I created with the retired Designer Series Paper, Twitterpated.  I do have a couple of packages of this paper for sale as well.  If you are looking for a coordinated gift, here they are!

The Nugget trays and Stand Up Post It Notes are on display at the Branson Mill Craft Village for you to come see in person.  This paper is really pretty and has quite a variety of color to it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Special Screen Card

If you are from Branson, you probably know Rattlesnake Eddie!  He came to me asked to make a special card for his wife, Debbie, who had a birthday this past Friday.  Here is the card that I made for him.

I used the retiring, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, and coordinating framelits to add the ferns and flowers.  I added pearls to the centers of the flowers for the WOW!

I love how this card turned out and so did Debbie!

Framed Art

Today's share are some Framed Art that I completed since I had the pieces already cut.  These would look great with a picture of Mom and child, don't you think?  I have these available in my store, Desiree's Craftroom, at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  If you're unable to visit my store, but would like to purchase one of these, be sure to drop me an email so I can get one shipped to you!

I used the retired Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Papers and the retired Dress Up Framelits to die-cut the dress.  I then tied a black ribbon on the front to accent the dress.

Paper Towel Roll Scrapbooks

Here are two more scrapbooks that I crafted on Wednesday, during our Paper Towel Roll Scrapbooking class.

This scrapbook I left unembellished, but include extra cardstock, ribbons, and embellishments.  For the purpose of this post, I'll call this Friends Forever!

This scrapbook, I call, You Brighten My Day.  This also includes ribbons, lace, sequins, chipboard, and extra paper and cardstock to finish!

If you are not able to make a Wednesday Paper Towel Roll class, but want to learn how to make these, contact me to schedule your class!

Two Tea Bag Pouch

This gift item was inspired by another demonstrator, Marsha. I've been asked whether I had tea packaging and at the time, I only had one style.  Now I have two!  This first style is super easy to make and open.

I corner-rounded the flap, added a cute little bow, and the flap tucks under the scallop circle.  Looking at the second picture, you can see there is a cute little fold in the center.  This enables you to pull the bottom down so the top opens easier.

I used one of my Paper Pumpkin stamp sets to make these.

This is the new pouch that I made.  I used a framelit to create the edging on the flap.  I added a button and then ribbon on the button to give it a "WOW" factor.  I will post directions soon.  I have pictures, but haven't written the instructions out yet.

I do have a selection available at the Branson Mill Craft Village for you to come out and see.  These are great to put in your purse for when you want a cup of your favorite tea!

Special Orders Welcome!

I love to customize cards and gifts to your satisfaction!  I was able to add words to a few cards in the last three days and to see the joy on the customers' faces is well worth the effort.  NO, I don't charge more for adding words to your cards!

So, if you see something you like and want to make a change, just ask me!  If I have the right words and inks, we'll make it happen.

So today's post is about a woman from Texas who was looking for little things to put into goodie bags.  I showed her the Hershey Bar Wraps and what I recommend to my customers.  I recommend you cut down the wrap to make it a bookmark to use.  Well, she didn't want to spend that much on candy bars, so we went with just a bookmark.

Here is a picture of all 40 of the bookmarks I made for her. They differ in color of ribbons and verse that I stamped on some.

I love how they came out and I hope she does too.  She will be picking them up in the morning before leaving for home.

I hope you will find some time to come craft with me!
