Three Box Cards

Today's share is a card I found on Facebook in my upline's group.  I really love how they look and they are great for those who like to display their cards.

First up is the Butterfly Brilliance card.  I used the retired butterfly designer series papers (DSP) on this but it was good to showcase this style of card.

The second card, I used Mossy Meadow cardstock and the retired Magnolia Lane DSP.  The sentiment is from "After the Storm."

Last month I held a three box card class.  If you didn't get to come and want to attend, let me know which times work best.  I do Tuesday nights at 6 pm or Thursday afternoons at 2 pm.

August 2018, Blissful Blooms Paper Pumpkin

Today's share is all about using up your excess supplies.  You will see that I cut down some cards, mounted on cardstock not included in the kit, and/or added embossed or die cut pieces.  There is so much you can do with your kits!

I used a variety of colors so the cards wouldn't be identical, but I did stamp three of the phrases in two different colors.  I really love this set!

I have a few more samples of this kit that I will show you tomorrow!

Blissful Bouquet, Oct 2015 Paper Pumpkin

I've been working on finishing up opened Paper Pumpkins.  These are the last of the supplies from the October 2015, Blissful Bouquet Paper Pumpkin.

I had a lot of fun designing these, using extra cardstock and other embellishments to complete them. The first card all I did was use extra pieces on the notecard provided in the kit and mounted the notecard on a piece of cardstock.  I'm not much into notecards.

For this second card, I stamped and fussy cut (used my scissors) one of the blooms to pop up on dimensionals.

This third card is a Dutch door card.  I used the envelope liner for the inside as designer series paper.

These are two more notecards mounted on a piece of cardstock.

I hope if you have any Paper Pumpkins you started or haven't opened yet that you will be motivated by some of my projects.  Come back Monday for some August 2018, Blissful Blooms alternative cards!

Simply Sent Hello

Often times, Stampin' Up! comes out with card kits that I immediately fall in love with but don't put it together once I get it.  Today's share are cards I made using the Happy Hello Simply Sent card kit from the 2013 Sale-A-Bration.  Speaking of Sale-A-Bration, have you seen the new product you can get for FREE by placing a $50 order?  If you don't have your new Holiday catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalog, get a hold of me!

I cut down some of the cards and mounted them on different cardstock, added doilies to some and did a couple as they were originally designed.

As you can see, they don't have all have a sentiment on them.  This is so I have it available for whatever occasion I need them for!

Playtime

A friend of mine, Sandra, came over to have some playtime.  Because she helped me a great deal, I was pleased that she wanted to play!

This is the card we made using a Z fold angled card base.  We used both retired High Tide and current, After the Storm, stamp sets.

We enjoyed our time together and caught up on how both families were doing.  If you want to come play, let's get you on my schedule!

More Expressions in Color

These are some cards I made from the June 2021, Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Inspiration came from our Facebook group, Paper Pumpkin Fan Club, and some are my own.  The first and second card use Gorgeous Grape and Polished Pink card base.  All other supplies were in the kit.

Since we had some extra green notecards, my sister and I cut them and created this third card.  I'm not great at adding twine or string to my cards, but I tried.

This card, I stamped the Bumble Bee card base with the flower stamp in the kit.  I wanted a little more umph to it so I added half a doily to the front.

Using up the notecard pieces, I mounted the Evening Evergreen notecard base to Thick Basic White cardstock.  I stamped the flower all over the green patterned paper provided in the kit.  I used the Bumble Bee Blend and colored the backside of the Merci vellum.

This last card, was made using up leftovers.  The other half of the doily, notecard base and patterned paper.  I used the Evening Evergreen blend on the backside of the Thanks to make it pop!

I hope you enjoy these Paper Pumpkin shares.  I'll be back tomorrow with some more cards.

Expressions In Color, June 2021 Paper Pumpkin

Today's share are some alternative cards my sister, Marilyn, and I made via Google Duo.  After we spent two hours making cards, I wanted to finish up my supplies so I made a few more.  I still haven't exhausted my supplies, but I'm happy with the cards I made.

The first two cards were made according to the kit, other than we didn't use the second card as a note card.  Instead we mounted it on thick basic white card stock.

This next card, I found on our Facebook Paper Pumpkin Fan Club page.  I didn't have alternative papers that I liked, so I pulled out my retired Buffalo Check stamp and made my own with the new in color Fresh Fresia.  The card base is a basic 8-1/2 X 5-1/2 card base.  All the other supplies were from the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

This is how it looks opened.

We then played with markers, both alcohol and Stampin' Write markers.  With the blends, the colors were a little too dark for me, so I used 91% alcohol and a cotton swap to pull off some of the color.  I always color the backside of the vellum.
