Stamp A Stack Christmas Cards

I'm going to try something different this year for Christmas Cards.  I'm designing a set of four Christmas Cards for the months of August, September, October, and November.

I will be posting individual cards but for this post, I'm showing the collage of four for the month of August.  You will come in to Desiree's Craftroom at the Branson Mill Craft Village to make two sets of cards for a total of 8 cards and envelopes.

If you come to all four classes (one each month), you will have a total of 32 Christmas Cards for those special friends and family members.  You will also get a $5.00 off coupon to come in December and make your 2017 Calendar.

I have to get busy and design the 2017 Calendar, but for now, here are the four cards I've designed for August's Christmas Stamp A Stack.

Come back Monday for more details on these cards!

Be sure to let me know how many will be attending so I have enough supplies cut and ready for you!

Four Item Gift Classes

I had a wonderful time working with Kathy on her Four-Item Gift Class!  I love new stampers and crafters -- if you would like to learn how to make some of the things I've posted here, let me know!  I can customize your class to the items you want to learn how to make!

Kathy enjoyed making her Sweet Treat pouches.  We used retired Stampin' Up! Halloween Designer Series Papers to create these cute pouches.

Then we went on to learn how to use the Envelope Punch Board to make these Pocket Pouches.  We used retired Stampin' Up! Christmas Designer Series Papers for these and added embellishments using the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Reason for the Season.

We moved on to make our Corner Bookmark, but I didn't get a photo of Kathy making hers.  Here's the one we made:

Lastly, we made the Stand Up Post It Note, using another retired stamp set for the words.

Thank you, Kathy, for a wonderful afternoon crafting!

This Christmas Starburst

I know.  You're probably thinking, she's nuts, starting Christmas this early!  But it's been so HOT here in Branson, that I thought if I started Christmas projects, maybe it would keep me cooler.

Nope, didn't work!  But I do like how this turned out.

I used the new This Christmas Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! on this starburst.  Isn't it beautiful?  If you would like to come in and make one of these, I have a class scheduled for July 30th, from 12:30-2 and again at 2:30 - 4. And if this doesn't fit your schedule, let me know what does and we'll schedule another class!

And wait until you see what I did with the other papers in this pack!  Look for an update in a couple of days!!

Paper Towel Roll Scrapbooking

Today's class is going to be fun!  I'm taking you through the process of cutting your paper towel roll down to make to sleeves for your scrapbook.  That means we need two paper towel rolls for this class which I provide!

Next step is stiffening up the roll by painting it.  After it is painted and dried, we paint inside one end and let it dry.

Once all dry, I have you flatten the rolls with the brayer and we're off to put papers on our rolls.

You will have access to ribbons, punched shapes, cardstock, designer series papers, vellum, and other embellishments!

When you leave, you should have a Christmas Scrapbook something like this one I made yesterday in preparation for today's class!

Sister's Turn

Yes, this young lady is sister to one of the girls that came in on Thursday, last week, to choose and make their Two-Item Gift Class projects.

This young lady wanted to make an Owl Curvy Keepsake and a Giraffe Hershey Bar Wrap.  Well, I had to cut the Pool Party Keepsake box using the Curvy Keepsake Die from Stampin' Up!  I had all the other pieces already punched for my different kits.

For the Giraffe, I used the pieces that I had punched out for the Giraffe Party Invitation Kit that I created for my friend, Jackie.  Since I punched so many extras, It was easy to pull the pieces out and get creative!

I hope that you will enjoy these pictures, and remember, I do customize for your workshop/class!  I like to have a 24-hour notice to ensure I do have everything cut and ready because not all my supplies are at the Branson Mill.

These girls stopped in yesterday and wanted to make two items.  They each chose a Hershey Bar Wrap and a Stand Up Post It Note.

Unsure what you would like to make?  Browse through my site and see the different items I've been making and contact me to see if we can do a class!  That's all there is to it!

Pokemon, Anyone?

With all the talk around the Branson Mill about Pokemon GO, I had to do a little research and make these adorable Hershey Bar Wraps and Curvy Keepsake Boxes.  The Pikachu is CASE (Copy And Share Everything!) from Loni Spendlove, on Facebook.

The Poke' Ball is made using your circle framelits/punches and your paper trimmer.

The Pikachu uses the Curvy Keepsake Die as the base, and I used the Poinsettia Builder punch for the ears and tips of the ears as well as the nose.  I used the Owl Builder Punch for the eyes and the 1/2 circle punch for the cheeks.  I used the black Stampin' Write Marker to make the mouth.

Cute, huh?

I hope you enjoy these.  I do have KITS available should you want to make your own as well as the boxes already made up!  Stop in and see these adorable crafts at the Branson Mill Craft Village!

Class Reminder!

Yesterday's Watercolor Technique class was fun!  I'll post pictures tomorrow!  I was busy at the store until 6 pm and was beat when I got home!  So today I'm just going to remind you of what events I have left in July.

Today, I have two young ladies, both 9, coming in for a two item gift class.  One is making Darth Vader and the other is making BB8 Hershey bar wraps and they both want to make the Stand Up Post it Notes and write their own message, can you guess?  "May the Force Be With You."

If there is a class you would like to see added to my schedule, drop me an email!  I'll be making up August's schedule this week.  Some of the things I want to do is a 4-month Christmas Card Class where you make three of each card with three to four designs.  I still need to come up with the designs and cost, so hang in there!  This will be a good way to get those special Christmas cards done early!

I also want to do another Watercolor Technique class where we use heat embossing and then two different ways to color that image -- again, I have to create first!

Here are the rest of July's Classes:

  • July 23rd - 12:30 - 3:30  Four Item Gift Class
  • July 27th - 12:30 - 3:30  Paper Towel Roll Scrapbooking Class
  • July 30th - 12:30 and 3:30 - Starburst Class

Gift Bag Kit

I had a lady stop in and really loved the gift bags I've made. She wanted a kit, so I've made one for the store to see how they sell!

The gift bag uses two sheets of Designer Series Papers, ribbon for the handles, and I used coordinating cardstock for the banners.  I also used some of the non-Stampin' Up! fabric flowers I had on hand to embellish the bags.

First is one that I have completely done and available at the store.  Second picture is the kit I made up!

Tomorrow is our Watercolor Technique class starting at 12:30.  I hope you can join me for a fun afternoon!

In The Bag

Today's share is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit called In The Bag.  I made one of each of the bags and then fixed up kits for you to make your own!

I have instructions included in each packet and all the materials to complete your bag.  You will need your own ink and stamps to add color to the white piece, or set this aside and cut out some designer series papers for your background! I also included extra letters/circles in case you want to stamp your own letters for the message to attach to the bag.

Don't forget that we're having a Watercolor Technique class on Wednesday, July 20th, at 12:30.
