Poppin' Birthday

Yes, I am behind on putting my Paper Pumpkin Kits together!  Today's share is March, 2019, Poppin' Birthday.  I didn't stray too much from the originals (instructions are included in each kit).  I did keep one back so I have a template to make more Poppin Birthday cards!

This is the original design for the first card.  I thought I would try candles on the middle piece.  It's okay, but the candle is folded because of where it was placed.  Still a good card to use!

 This is the second design.

This kit includes numbers in two different patterns to add to the front or inside of the cards.  I left mine blank so I can add the ages as I use them!  I love both the candles and bows so I cannot tell you which is my favorite.

I hope to continue putting my older kits together as time permits, but for now, I need to start showcasing our new product.  I'm anxious for you to see our new catalog so you can make your own wish list!

I have them available in my store so if you want to drop by and pick yours up, you're welcome to anytime.

My Wonderful Family

Today's share are cards I made using the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, My Wonderful Family.  Now I've already sent some of these out, so they can be used for birthdays or any occasion.

Since I made these while in the Stay-Home order, I used what I had at home.  So, Chocolate Chip and Hello Honey are the retired colors I used.  I made some according to the directions and others differently.  My sister, Linda, received her birthday card, and it was made slightly different from the directions.  But she loved it!

The first two are the way the kit designed them.

These were inspired by Mary F. and other Pinterest Pins.

So far, I've made 10 cards out of this kit.  I still have lots of supplies to make more so you definitely get enough!

If you haven't signed up for Paper Pumpkin, but like what you see, please sign up here and select me as your demonstrator.  You will receive a kit every month, with the option to skip or drop any time you want.  We even have a monthly, 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions you can purchase.  When you purchase the 12 month, you get one month FREE!  I usually get mine during Sale-A-Bration to earn other FREE stamp sets.

Two Item Gift Class

I had this gift class on the horizon for some time now. These are the two items we will be making on the 23rd -- which is an evening class -- I will schedule a daytime class as well.  I'm limiting the classes to 6 so be sure to sign up early if you plan on attending.

The Two Tea Bag Holder can be used for many things.  Especially for gift giving--an earring and necklace set, attached to cardstock, can be slipped into each pouch.  The recipient will have no idea!  Ghirardelli chocolates will also slip inside these, as well as gift cards, and, of course, Tea Bags!

This Kleenex holder is a thoughtful gift for someone who has allergies, sniffles, or just needs to know you care.

I hope you enjoy today's share and please, leave me a comment!  I'd love to hear from you!

Class Rescheduled

Our April 7th class has now been rescheduled for June 16th from 2-4 pm.  Class will be limited to 6 to accommodate social distancing.  All supplies will be pre-packaged and hand sanitizer is available.

These are the three cards we'll be making.  You can still order Music in the Heart until the 2nd of June.  Silhouette Scenes is carrying over to the new catalog.  I'm sorry to say that the Happy Birthday to You Sale-A-Bration set is no longer available.

I hope you can join me for this class!  I will be adding retired stamp sets that I will be selling soon.  I'll post when new have been added so you can check them out!

Summer Banner

Today's share is the Summer banner that we will be making on June 9th at 6 pm.  We will be making both Spring and Summer banners in class.  The June 9th class is almost full, so be sure to let me if you want another evening class. I will be offering this class during the day as well in the near future.

I decided to keep the format the same as the Fall/Winter banners. If you need to make the latter two, be sure to contact me to schedule a class!

No Matter the Weather

Today's share is from our March 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I'm not a big fan for note cards, so I added some Smokey Slate cardstock (what I had at home since my store was closed).

Inspiration came from one of my customers, Joan T. (who got her inspiration from Rachel T.).  I really like how these came out and I still have supplies to make more.  I was able to use some of these to stay in touch with my customers who purchased from me in April.

I used the envelopes for some of the background pieces (the striped paper).  The 3-3/4 X 5 pieces are the note cards.  I just cut them down to size and used what punches/dies I may have had at home.

Tomorrow I will be back with some pictures of the cards I made using My Wonderful Family Paper Pumpkin kit from April 2020.  I've already sent some of these out as well.  So glad to have cards ready for any occasion!

If you're not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can sign up here:  PaperPumpkin.com and be sure to select me, Desiree Lewis, as your demonstrator.  Once you've signed up, I will send you information about my Pinterest board, etc.

Spring Banner

Today's share is a Spring Banner I made using some retired product.  Since I was home, I used what supplies I had.

Hello Honey (retired) is the color I used for the flowers. I also used Hello Honey ribbon, but will mount on the burlap that we've used on the other two banners.

My letters are a little crooked, but I will be fixing that when I get to my store where my glue gun is!  I used Liquid Glue on this but prefer the glue gun.

I do plan to have a class on this banner.  I need to make a Summer banner and then I will schedule the class.  I hope to see you soon.

Stay safe, and Happy Crafting,

Desiree'

NEW Stampin' Up! In Color Comparison Charts

I know I've been absent from here for some time, but I was working on a business website for the other items we have in our store--Melissa & Doug toys and military hats, pins, patches, etc.  Wow!  I didn't realize how many items we had!!
Now onto our new 2020-2022 In-Colors!

These new in-colors will be available in card stock, ink, markers, designer series paper, and other embellishments starting on June 3, 2020.  Our new annual catalog will be available on line -- I will post it here on my blog for you the morning of June 3rd.
Below is a color comparison chart I created for you so you can see the subtle changes in like colors.

Come back tomorrow for a color chart for each new In-Color!

If you join our Stampin' Up! family, you can select card stock, designer series papers, and other embellishments today to create your Stampin' Up! kit.  Not all items are orderable until June 3rd, but it would give you a good start on your supplies!

Contact me if you have any questions!
