Final Card with All My Love Designer Series Papers

The is the last card I made using up all six pieces of 4 X 6 All My Love Designer Series Papers.

Now I did tell you in the beginning that you may need additional cardstock to make these cards/crafts--like the Two Tea Bag holder.  Inspired by my upline, Susie W., I added both Soft Seafoam and Flirty Flamingo card stock to create this card.  We're doing a virtual card swap on Facebook and I loved her layout.

This is using scraps from one of the other cards that I cut down the 4 X 6 piece.  I popped up the second piece of Flirty Flamingo and will be adding a piece of Whisper White or Soft Seafoam with stamped images or words to finish off this card.

I'll be sure to finish this off and post a picture once I'm done!

Layered All My Love DSP

Today I'm sharing the eighth card I made using one of the 4 X 6 All My Love Designer Series Papers (DSP).  I really love the flowers on this paper, but I'm so in LOVE with our new papers as well.

For this card, I used the Lovely Lipstick card base that was in the paper share.  I added a layer of Soft Seafoam and then my DSP.  I even have a piece left over to add to the inside of my card!

What would you add to this card?  Maybe a strip of cardstock or DSP and then pop the sentiment?  Or just add a sentiment and let the flowers show the beauty?

Be sure to let me know what you would do with this card!

Balmy Blue Meets All My Love

This is another card I made using the 4 X 6 All My Love Designer Series Papers that were included in a paper share.

I took a piece of Thick Whisper White for the base and added a layer of Balmy Blue cardstock.  There's just a touch of this color in the DSP.  I almost hate to hide all these beautiful flowers, but a sentiment will be added in the future.

I hope you're enjoying these samples of how to use up your paper shares.  I'm having fun creating them for you!

Two Cards with All My Love

Today's share shows you how you can get more bang for your buck.  I used one panel of 4 X 6 All My Love Designer Series Papers and cut it in half to make two cards.

The first card is my favorite.  the base is Lovely Lipstick with a layer of retired Sweet Sugar Plum (matches the pink flowers perfectly!) that I embossed with the Tufted Embossing Folder.  I then added the DSP and will add a sentiment when I need a card.

The second half of the DSP was used on this card -- Sweet Sugarplum base with Lovely Lipstick layer.  Again, the sentiment will be added at a later date.

I hope you enjoy your day and stay safe!

Two Tea Bag Holder

Yes!  I used one of the 4 X 6 sheets of All My Love Designer Series Papers to dress up the Two Tea Bag holder.  Now I still need to make the inside, using another sheet of DSP, but you get the idea that you can use your paper shares for crafts as well!

I chose to share this today since we have class tonight on making this craft.  Perhaps you will enjoy making more of these with your paper shares!

I still have paper from this piece to decorate the top but I need to decide how I'm going to cut the top.  I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the base and will choose a coordinating piece of designer series paper to finish the inside.

I hope to see you tonight at 6 pm for our class!

All My Love Designer Series Papers

This week, I'm going to post one of nine cards I made out of six pieces of 4 X 6 All My Love designer series papers.  Now for those of you who get a paper share from me, these may look familiar!

This is a paper share that never sold so I decided I would make up samples for those who need some inspiration to use their designer series papers.

First card for this week is a fold we did with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlets.  Yes, I know the sentiment is not there, but that makes it easy for me to customize when I need a card quickly.

I believe in the share, there was a thick whisper white card base.  I then added a Lovely Lipstick cardstock layer (if you don't want to use the card bases for bases, cut them in half and use for layering!).  I then trimmed down the DSP to 3-3/4 X 5.  I then snipped halfway down and folded those over.  I popped the Lovely Lipstick label up on dimensionals and I'll add the circle once I've decided on a sentiment.

What do you do with all your cards?

As you can imagine, I have so many cards that I've been donating them to friends and family.  I sent a batch off to each of my sisters, my children, my niece, and soon to my sister-in-law.

Summer Nights by Paper Pumpkin

Celebrate the magic of summer nights with the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit! In this exclusive fun-filled kit, you’ll unbox enough supplies to create nine postcard-style cards, coordinating envelopes, and die-cut tealight bags.

Don't like postcard-style cards - - wait for others to make alternatives if you cannot come up with any on your own.  I know I will be making alternative cards with this kit and will post on my blog and on Pinterest.

What’s even more spectacular about July’s kit is the add-on you can purchase along with it! The Summer Nights Add-On includes 24 card bases and envelopes in coordinating Summer Nights designs. This add-on is perfect for helping you expand the Summer Nights creative experience beyond the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Between the add-on and the leftover supplies from your Summer Nights kit, you will be crafting a summer night worth celebrating all month long!

Don’t miss out on the fireworks, fireflies, and fun! You can subscribe to the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit between 11 June and 10 July, and order the Summer Nights Add-On starting 1 July; while supplies last.

Card Kits for Sale

Normally I use up most of the supplies I cut for class.  However, every once in a while, I over-prepare.  So I'm offering these card kits for $10 each.  The kits will include everything to create the cards shown.  You will need to use your own stamps, ink, and dies to create the exact card, or use your imagination to create your own with the supplies provided.

First is the Botanical Butterfly Class - The butterflies were cut or punched out of the Designer Series Papers.  I have four kits available at $10 each.  You are welcome to come into my store, Desiree's Emporium, and we can do a class using my stamps, ink and supplies.  The class would be $10 and that includes the kit.

3-Card Kit
Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers

I only have one kit of this set of three cards left.  This was my Toile Christmas class where we used leftover Christmas papers to create other than Christmas cards.  The sentiments are from other stamp sets, but you will be using your own stamps, ink and embellishments.

The last set of cards that I have for today are from my Woven Heirloom class.  I have four of these kits ready to be made.  Each kit/class is $10.  You will need a punch of some sort, adhesive, and the Woven Heirloom stamps and dies if you  make the oval frame.  The Melon Mambo (pink) card was one I redesigned using current butterfly stamps/dies.

Hand Made Cards

This is one of the reasons I love to make hand made cards (and crafts!).

Do you save the hand made cards people send you?  Or do you repurpose them?  I add a piece of paper inside and write my message just in case the person wants to repurpose my cards.  Now for my sisters, mostly not because I know they like to keep them!

Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you soon!

Two More New In-Colors!

Today's share is a simple card I designed to highlight some new product.  First, the base is thick whisper white.  I then used the NEW Greenery Embossing Folders to emboss the NEW In-Color, Just Jade.  I did have to run it through twice to get the layer embossed, but everything lines up if you're careful in placement in the folder.

I then added a strip of NEW Just Jade In-Color Designer Series Paper.  The flower used the retired Daisy Punch and NEW In-Color, Magenta Madness.  I curled the flower with my bone folder and added two dimensionals to the bottom flower.  I then popped the second flower with a single dimensional.  The inner part is a 1/2" Early Expresso circle.  For the sentiment, I used retired dies to put a simple Hello.

This card can be used for any occasion.  This is a card for our next card class which will be scheduled for July 7th.  I'll be adding this event soon so be sure to sign  up!

New In-Colors

Today's card features two new In-Colors.  This card was inspired by a fellow demonstrator in my Stampin' Up! family.  I love this fold and we've made cards with it in the past.

The card base is new In-Color, Cinnamon Cider.  The layering color is the new In-Color, Bumble Bee.  I was so excited that the Back on Your Feet stamp set carried over to the new catalog!

Isn't this cute?  And this is good for any occasion!  This is another card we will be making in our next card class.  Look for dates soon!

New Catalog LIVE tomorrow!

Stampin' Up!s new annual catalog goes LIVE tomorrow!  I will have the catalog posted here for those who don't yet have one in their hands.  I do have some catalogs at my store, Desiree's Emporium, so you can stop in and pick one up.

Please, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I ask that you call first to make sure I'm there.  My hours will fluctuate from time to time until I figure out what's going to work for you, the customer.  If my doors are locked, you're welcome to call me so I can come in. . .I'm only 10 minutes away!

Onto crafting.  Here's a card I made for the new owner, Shelby, of the Revive store in our building.  She opened yesterday!  I used Jar of Flowers and some retired ribbon (as of tomorrow), and blends.

I used Flirty Flamingo along with some retired Early Expresso designer series paper.  The flowers are stamped on the new In-Color, Bumble Bee.

We will be making this card in different colors in card class soon.  I don't have it scheduled as of yet since I need two more cards!  Bare with me; I'll be scheduling more classes in the near future.

Happy Crafting,

Desiree'
