Stand Up Post it Notes

Here are the new colors that I made while I was up in Springfield, MO.  I brought my cart (big shout to my sister, Marilyn) on wheels with me every day to sit with my husband and I crafted.  I love this paper even though it is retired.  Don't worry!  I have some new designer series papers coming from the new Holiday catalog.  You will be seeing more Halloween and Christmas designs soon!

This is another item that can be chosen for you to make for a Two- or Four-Item Gift Class.  Remember, you get PDFs emailed to you after class participation so you can make more of these once you get home!  They are fun to make and they also make great teacher gifts!

More Sweet Treat Ideas

So, my daughter went home Monday night and I was bored.  What better to do than craft!  It takes my mind off of worrying and it helped keep my stress down.  Did you know crafting keeps your stress down?  Doesn't matter the craft, as long as you do something!

Well, here are some of the Sweet Treats I started when we went for our Pre-Admission appointment.  I knew I would have plenty of time to finish these once my husband went in for his surgery.  I had a variety of stamped verses and punched shapes to put on these fronts.

All of these are available at my store at the Branson Mill Craft Village or on-line.

I package these three to a package -- YES!  you can preselect which three you want!  How cool is that?  Just let me know the verse and colors you want.

I hope you enjoy today's share!

Day of Surgery

What a funny title, huh?  Well, I wanted to share with you what my daughter, Michelle, and I did while we waited for updates on my husband's surgery.  We're very proud with how many we were able to get done!

I used the retired Stampin' Up! Scallop Edge punch to create the Santa trim down the front and across the bottom.  I then used the 1/2 inch punch to create the buttons on Santa's suit.  For the band, I used this to keep the wrap closed.  I put the "seam" underneath the buckle for a nice, smooth look.

These are one of the items you can select to learn how to make in my Two- or Four-Item Gift Class!

We're excited to share with you the different projects we worked on.  We also worked on the Reindeer wraps, but I don't have them finished yet.  Come back soon to see how these turned out!

Post It Notes with Pens

Here is one of the four Post It Notes with Pens that I made for the store on Saturday before leaving for Springfield.

I'm using retired designer series papers and added these cute flower punches and stamped the center piece from Mixed Blossoms which is a retired stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Purse Gift Card Holders

How cute are these?  I think these are absolutely adorable and I would love to receive a gift card in one of these. Wouldn't you?

I used papers from a 6 x 6 paper stack called Love Blossoms.  This was in our 2016 Occasions catalog and is now retired.  But look at these beautiful papers!  I'm in love with this paper stack.

I added pearls to the front of this one as I thought it would be a nice wedding/bridal gift card holder!

If you need a special gift card holder, get in touch with me!

I have been posting a variety of gift card holders to get your creative juices flowing.  Not crafty?  Contact me on what items you want!

New Verse on Stand Up Post It Notes

I found this wonderful verse in the stamp set, Rose Wonder, from Stampin' Up!  I absolutely LOVE it!  I made a few post it notes with this on them and they sold out.

So here are a couple of more that I made.  I actually made four of them, but only took pictures of two of them.  Again, I am using retired cardstock, Close to Cocoa, and retired designer series papers.

Let me know what you think of this verse!

Are You Looking for Christmas Gift Ideas?

I found some more scraps of paper along with the panels for this box when I was cleaning up a little in my craft room.  I figured I might as well make up three boxes and get these out to sell!  These were a big hit a few years ago when I made them for a craft fair.

I used Island Indigo cardstock and followed Frenchie's video to make the box.  These are super easy to make.  Thank you, France Martin, for a great video!

Remember, when you are wrapping your nuggets, do NOT adhere the designer series papers to the chocolates!  You want to be able to slip out the chocolates and refill those sleeves to give the box to someone as a Christmas present.

Oh, and there is a hidden surprise.  On the top of the box, there is an ornament.  Simply cut the dimensional (only one holding it on) and rub off the sticky on the back.  You are now ready to hang the new ornament!

Happy Crafting,

Today is a stressful day for me as I'm in Springfield at the hospital while my husband undergoes a triple heart bypass.  All prayers are appreciated!  I will continue to post and craft while I'm away, but I won't be at the Branson Mill Craft Village for at least a week!

Minions, Anyone?

Since I was low on my Minion Popcorn Sleeves, I made more today to put out on the shelf.

Be sure to remind your gift recipient that these are not JUST popcorn sleeves!  You can place these in a 5 X 7 photo frame and use them as framed art on the wall.  Just remind everyone to remove the glass from the photo frame so the eye doesn't break!

Stop in at the Branson Mill Craft Village and see what other popcorn sleeves I have that make great framed art!

More in Stock!

I finished up these Hot Cocoa Pouches to add to the shelf at my store.  Where is my store?  Well, you can visit me online by just clicking the Crafts for Sale link or the tab at the top of my blog. Or, if you are local to the Branson area, you can come in and visit me and my crafts at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  My store is all the way in the back, turning left after you walk into the shopping area.

I really love these using the retired Be of Good Cheer designer series papers from Stampin' Up!  I keep finding little pieces in baskets and decided to make more of these.  If you saw yesterday's post, you see I made some of these pouches using blues.

You may be asking, "Why is she making more of these?" Well, I get a few crafters who want to buy these to learn how to make them for craft fairs or for school functions.  These also make great birthday party gifts in the fall season.

While I'm away next week, I'll be making a variety of papercrafts that I've made in the past as well as some new stuff.

For now, enjoy this beautiful weather!

New Cocoa Pouches

I'm trying to stock crafts with different colors for some of the different items I have in my store.  I wanted to use up some of the retired Designer Series Paper scraps that I have.

For these pouches, I used Island Indigo cardstock and ink on some, and Soft Sky on others.  Be sure to let me know which pouch you prefer!

Special Order Invitations

I am tickled with this special order! Of course, when I designed this card, I didn't think about how many I would be making!  There was lots of die cutting to prepare to put these together!

I used Mint Macaroon for the base, Marina Mist for the background and Very Vanilla for the front.  I then used the same colors to die cut the flowers using the Botanical Builder Framelits.

I hope you enjoy today's share!

Reminder that I have the Four-Item Gift Class tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12:30 pm at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  Stop in and see me to get some craft ideas.

New Corner Bookmarks

If you have taken one of my Two or Four Item gift classes, then you know there are endless ways to make this bookmark.  I had a lady come in and purchase all the ones I had made so I quickly made 8 of these Close to Cocoa (retired Stampin' Up! color) using coordinating retired designer series papers.  I used a stamp from the host set, Gift of Love.

The next day, I went in and made some purple bookmarks using one of my favorite stamps from the retired stamp set, Brighter Tomorrow.

I want to let everyone know that the last two Stamp A Stack Christmas card classes have been cancelled due to upcoming surgery.  If you still want to make this month's cards, get in touch with me!

My Team Swap

Since moving to Missouri, I have missed out on being at my team meetings.  I'm so lucky that I can still make swaps and participate with my upline this way.

Today's share is my swap for the August Iowa Inkers team meeting.  I used the Wonderous Wreath stamp set, Gently Falling embossing folder, and the coordinating framelits to complete this card.  I used Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Whisper White, and Cherry Cobbler for ink and cardstock.

Don't forget we have Starburst classes scheduled today at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  I hope to see you there!

I've posted some new items that I've crafted recently, and today I'm sharing some new colors that I've added to my selection.  These are made using retired Stampin' Up! cardstock and Designer Series Papers.

I used retired colors, River Rock and Really Rust.  I love these two colors together.  For the words, I used a phrase from Rose Wonder stamp set.

Be sure to stop in today and see the newest colors I've added to my selection.

Little Beach Bags

Classes this week are on schedule!  So today's share is a little bag I CASEd (copy and share everything!), from Sandy Maclver.  Here is the link to her YouTube video that I followed.

I was playing with retired Halloween Designer Series Papers when I made this.  I'm thinking, "Wouldn't these be cute little bags for the kids to take treats to school in?"  Or, "What a cute bag for a hand sanitizer!"  I haven't tried to see if the sanitizer fits, but if it does, what a great Teacher gift!

I'm not fond of Washi tape for holding things together.  Maybe I don't press down hard enough, but when making this bottom, I'm thinking I will try something sturdier, like cardstock and Tombow Liquid glue.  I'll let you know how this holds up!

In the meantime, Happy Crafting,

Desiree'

Quick Share Today

Today's share is quick since I'm heading out the door soon to take my husband up to Springfield for a heart bypass consultation.  All prayers are appreciated!  With this, this week's classes may be rescheduled.  I will update you tomorrow!

Here are a couple of ornaments that I cased from another demonstrator, Deborah Austin.  I've made similar ornaments like this in the past, but love how these look, too!

I used the Delicate Ornament Dies from Stampin' Up! and using the precision base plate, cut 10 of them.  I then used the die brush to get all those tiny pieces out!  Looks challenging, but when you have the right tools, it's EASY!

Now I hot glued my petals onto a circle base.  Others have used Tombow Liquid Glue.  I arranged five petals on the circle, then hot glued them down.  I then popped another circle up on dimensionals and placed that in the center.  This gives the ornament a little dimension.  I then hot glued the next five petals on it.  I then hot glued the center piece punched from the same glimmer paper.

I hot glued the ribbon/twine to the back of a circle and then hot glued the circle to the back of the ornament.  These ornaments measure 7" across so they are fairly large.  I think these would look beautiful hanging from a banister or your windows!

Be sure to let me know what you think of these ornaments!

And remember, you can place a special order and/or order right from here!  Just send me an email.

Thank A Vet!

What a cute idea if I say so myself!  I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to create this little pouch that holds 3 Hershey Nuggets.  Of course I had to wrap each nugget with the same papers to match!  I used the retired Note Tag Punch from last last year's annual catalog and punched out a red tag.  I popped this up on dimensionals.

I had to print off "Thank A Vet" so I used two different fonts for this and then die cut them with a retired set of framelits from way back when.

I always see veterans carrying a cup of coffee so I thought this was very fitting.

Have you thanked a veteran lately?  When you see someone wearing the uniform or a military hat, be sure to thank them for their service!
