Card Buffet Play Time

Yes, It's true.  I love to play with stamps, paper and ink.  Do you?  Today is the final day for Stampin' Up! items in our current catalog.  Be sure to get the items on your wish list!

I like to hold what I call a Card Buffet as often as I can. Sometimes I use retired product to exhaust my supplies. Yes, some of these cards are Christmas cards, but they can be changed to Birthday, Sympathy, or "Just Because" cards!

What is a Card Buffet?  Well, when I prepare for a class, I tend to make more supplies than what my class attendance is.  So I package each card up and set it out on the table. Here's the cards that are currently available:

Once supplies run out for that card, I remove it from the Card Buffet.  When coming to a Card Buffet, you need to know how to stamp, emboss, and assemble cards.  If you do NOT know how to do this, I will be charging you for a class in lieu of attending the Card Buffet.  My best advice to you is to take a class (I specifically design around your needs) and then you can attend the Buffet for a minimal cost.

Card Buffet runs $5.00 for the first card with envelope and all the rest of the cards you make are $2.50.  So cost will depend on how many cards you choose to make.

Some classes go longer than others based on your stamping experience.  Schedule your card class today if you are new to stamping and want to learn some of these techniques.  Be sure to let me know what you'd like to learn so you can attend future Card Buffets!

Birthday Gift Card Holder

Here is another cute idea for a Birthday.  I make these little purses all year round.  I sold these at craft fairs right before Christmas and they were a big hit.

Now here are some ideas of what can go inside these little purses:

    1.  Gift Cards (of course!)
    2.  Chocolate candies (who doesn't like a little chocolate?)
    3.  Jewelry (you can place earrings, necklace, or a ring on a piece of cardstock and insert inside!)
    4.  Curled up money (everyone can use CASH, right?)

What are some other ideas?

These purses are one of the items you can select as a Four-Item Gift Class.  When you take a Gift Class with me, you make the four items and then I send you the tutorials so you can then make them at home!  Of course, I'm always available to assist!

My Favorite Birthday Go To Stamp Set Is . . .

Complete this sentence:  My Favorite Birthday Go To Stamp Set Is . . .

Then see if you can identify which is MY favorite Go To Birthday stamp set! I used it on this card which will be one of our June cards as well.

Remember, I do make kits so if you cannot make class but want to purchase the monthly card kit, just let me know.  BUT you do have to have your own stamps and ink to complete them!  If you'd like a kit, I will include the tutorial on how to make each card.

You've Got This!

Today's card is one I designed for my June card classes.  We are learning the masking tape technique on this card.  First I put my three colors down using masking tape, and then I stamped my image using Momento black ink.  With a few embellishments, the card really pops!

Be sure to look for my June card schedule coming out soon!

Avant Garden Hallet Bag with Cards

Here are the four cards I made using the Avant Garden Stamp set.  I created a Hallet Bag and all four cards and envelopes are included in this nice little gift.  I recommend these for shut-ins so they can have a Thank You card ready when someone brings them their medications or groceries!

Here is one other bag I made with Kindness cards.

And lastly, here are the other Hallet Bags I put together.  I pulled some note cards I already had made and placed four cards with envelopes into each bag.

These go together pretty fast so if you'd like to come in for a class, contact me!
