Halloween Treat Pockets

Today's project is another one I started, but didn't finish.  Using my envelope punch board, I created these cute pouches.  These are great for grown ups placing their favorite candy bar or gift card inside.  I will wait to put Halloween sentiments on these until our new Holiday Catalog comes out in September, to see what ghoulish creatures are coming!

Enjoy your day and as I get to feeling better, hopefully I will have something new to post tomorrow.

In the meantime, Happy Crafting,

Cup of ?

What would you fill your cup with?  I love drinking herbal tea, BlackBerry Cinnamon is my favorite.  I've been out of pocket since Wednesday and am just starting to feel better.  I don't have much to share this week, so bear with me.

So you have this nice cup, what would you put inside as a gift?  So many ideas, I can't wait to see what yours are.  These are not finished, but here's what I was working on before I got sick.

One tip I have for you when making these cups, is to use a Tomato Soup can to bolster your cup.  I placed a 2-3/8 inch circle on the top of the can.  Then, with the tabs cut, I glued the tabs to the circles.  Once all tabs were down, I placed a second 2-3/8 inch circle over the tabs.  I want to place these on a doily for presentation.

Well, be sure to leave me a comment on what you would place in your cup!

More Ten Years Alternatives

I did get the design for one of these cards from the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club.  There are lots of ideas on this Facebook page if you don't care for the designs of a particular kit.  Here are my other alternatives of Ten Years of Growth!

This last card I made a little differently than the first card.  I like both of them!  What do you think?

Ten Years Of Growth

Today's share is using Ten Years of Growth, March 2023 Paper Pumpkin.  I tried to make one set like the directions but decided to mix it up!  How colorful are these? I felt the cards needed a little more color so added a solid color base using coordinating colors of the kit. I'll be posting more of these cards tomorrow!

All the pieces you see on each card are provided in the crafting kit. I just added extra cardstock to make them sturdier and colorful. All the sentiments are from the kit as well.

Post It Notes

Today I'm sharing post it notes with pens.  I crafted these a few years ago and really liked them so decided I'd get my scraps out and make some more!  These will be available for sale either here on my blog, or at the Kimberling Area Senior Center Craft fair,  Cool Yule Bazaar, August 11-12th.

Here are the two I made yesterday for today's blog.  The first sentiment I used the Lasting Label punch and cut it down to fit.  On the second one, I did a lot of fussy cutting!

I hope you enjoy your day and save some time to craft!  It is my stress reliever for sure!

Do You Paper Craft?

I have been sharing many of the "crafts" that I create with paper.  I love playing with paper and it helps keeps my hands busy and my mind relaxed.  I'd love to create with you, so please contact me to schedule some crafting time together!

These are some Stand Up Post It Note holders that I'm creating for a craft fair.  These sold well when I had them in my store.  I love to put inspirational sentiments on these so when I give them as a gift, that person will have their spirits lifted.

What phrases/sentiments motivate you or inspire you?  I'm going to put sentiments on these later as I want to see what everyone responds with!

These are some of the Post It Notes I made up for our store.  I may still have some of these in my stash to sell!

Be sure to leave a comment or message me so I know what you're favorite inspirational sentiment is.

Mini Composition Books

Here is another new craft for me!  I saw these and thought, I can do something with them.  Here's what I've made so far.  Let me know what you think because I don't know how many to make!  They are addictive to make.

I covered the front and backs of these books using Stampin' Up! designer papers.  On some of them, I covered the black binding with Very Vanilla card stock to blend with the paper.

I will have these available both here and at craft shows.  Christmas is just over 6 months away.  It's time to think about stocking stuffers!

Refillable 3 X 5 Notepads

I have refillable notepads in different sizes available for purchase here on my blog.  I use PayPal for any order and customer pays shipping if I need to ship.  Or, I will be at the Kimberling Area Senior Center Bazaar, in August.  Here are different styles of 3 X 5 notepads that I've created so far.

The two styles I show here are one opens from the top and the other opens from the side.  They are both refillable using 3 X 5 notepads from your favorite store.  These are all made using Stampin' Up! card stock and designer series papers.  When making items for craft fairs, I always use up retired papers.

The picture shows $3 but I will also be selling two of these for $5.  If you're in the area of Kimberling City, MO, in August, be sure to stop in!

New Craft Item

As I shared earlier, I'm looking for crafts that people will use.  I found these nail files on Amazon and decided to make a nice gift package with them. These are all made using Stampin' Up! designer series papers.  These were placed in cellophane pretzel bags.  I got this idea from the Craft Fairs Facebook group.  Thank you, Ladies!

I tried to make some more masculine ones using solid colors, but you know, we have a lot of female golfers out there!  These are great stocking stuffers, small teacher gifts, etc.

Happy Crafting!

Friendship Tea

Today's share are a new craft for me.  I've made the Two Tea Bag Holders and like those for things other than tea bags.  You find them here.

These are called Friendship Tea Packets.  They are made with cardstock and designer papers.  Add a sentiment and ribbon for closure and you're done!  These make great "pick me up", "just because" and even stocking stuffers!

I used the Cup of Tea stamp set and coordinating designer series papers to create these.

I hope to see you at the Kimberling Area Senior Center Cool Yule Bazaar on August 11th & 12th from 10-4.

Last of Exploring In Colors

These are the last of the cards I made using the Exploring In Color Paper Pumpkin kit.

The mostly white one is made from one of the envelopes.  The paper tore easily so I decided to only use one of these for a card.  The stickers were included in the kit.

The last card I stamped the boot on cardstock and stamped a second boot by placing a piece of scrap over the first boot.  I decided to place the verse on the inside of the card.

Enjoy your day and I hope you get some crafting in.

New Fold

Today I'm sharing two cards I made with a fold, really it's a new opening, for me.  I saw this on Facebook and thought, I can do that!  I hope you enjoy how these two came out.

Once again, I'm using the Exploring In Colors Paper Pumpkin.  this style of card took two pieces of 4 X 5-1/4 card fronts so I picked two that complimented each other.

When you open the card at first, you're opening the two outer panels.  The center panel remains.  Then you open the center panel (I did put a piece of white cardstock on this piece).

And here's the second card.

If you would like to attend a card class, we make three cards and my classes are $10.  I supply everything you need so just bring yourself and let's play!

Pencil Boxes

I decided to try to make some different crafts that didn't include chocolates since we're in the hotter season in Branson.  I know kids like animals so I purchased some really cute erasers at Dollar Tree to dress up the pencils.

The boxes are made using some retired papers from Stampin' Up!  The paper is sturdy so won't ruin so easily.

I hope you can come out to the Kimberling Area Senior Center craft sale in August!

Masculine Cards

Here are some more alternatives for the Exploring In Colors Paper Pumpkin kit.  I used a variety of layouts I've used before like cutting the single 4 X 5-1/4 into 4 pieces to create a window look.  I hope you enjoy these and will come back on Monday to see more crafts!

I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the great outdoors!

Exploring In Colors

Stampin' Up! just did a color refresh.  What does that mean?  They retired some colors, returned some retired in colors as primary colors, and added new colors.  Today's share is the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit, Exploring In Colors.  This one a great outdoors kit to play with.  I'll be sharing this kit in different posts since I have so many cards to share.

First up are the cards I made following the kit.  Well, almost.  I did change out the card base (cut it in two to make more cards!) for one of the new In Colors.

These are gorgeous with the In Color card bases.  Thank you, Amy A. for inviting me to your home to put our kits together!

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly kit that once you sign up, will come every month, unless you choose to skip a month.  Everything you need to put these together are in the box.  You will need your snips (scissors), but the dimensionals, twine, glue dots (or use your own glue/adhesive), and ink spot are in the box!  And you also get envelopes.

To sign up, click here.  You will create your own account and provide way of payment.  Your first kit will contain a stamping block. Decide by the 10th of each month whether to receive the kit or skip.  You will get a teaser from me on what the monthly kit will contain to help you decide.  Contact me with any questions!

All the Little Things

I love to try to expand my Paper Pumpkin kits. This one is April's kit, All the Little Things. To stretch this kit, I cut some of the greenery in half and used on two cards.

I used my blending brush and colored the white piece of cardstock because I ran out of the ones the kit provided.

And I did make some as the kit suggested.

I still have enough to make four more cards, but wanted to share what is done.

Come back tomorrow to see cards I made using the Exploring In Colors kit for May!
