Share What You Love Suite - Limited Time!

Here's a video with Brandy to help you decide whether you want Just Getting Started, A Little More, Please, or Gotta Have It All bundles that I posted last week.  These will be available for you to purchase starting tomorrow!

I'm learning hyperlinks, so forgive me if clicking on the photo doesn't work.  I've also added the caption with a hyperlink just in case!

 Share What You Love
Share What You Love

Some of you have seen the designer series papers and some of the stamp sets.  You can also order a la carte so watch the video and I'll post the flyers again tomorrow for your convenience.

I'm sure something in this suite will touch you!

Dragonfly Dreams

Today's share is a card I swapped at OnStage.  This card was created by Tere A.  She used Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and some DSP behind the dragonflies.

You picked this card as one that you wanted to learn how to make so here's my sample.  I thought the Lemon Lime Twist needed some dimension so I used a retired embossing folder on the layer after I cut the dragonflies.  I then took Wink of Stella and went over the flowers.  The words "Thank You,"
are from the Daisy Delight stamp set.

Recipe:

Tranquil Tide card base, 4-1/4 X 11, scored at 5-1/2
Lemon Lime Twist layer, 4 X 5-1/4
Momento black ink

This is one of the three cards we will be making in our May 8th card class.  I have an event scheduled on my Facebook page, Desiree's Craftroom.  If you plan on attending, please go there and select going!

Two More Bundles

I hope you have been following me all week as I highlight the different bundles coming out.

These last two bundles I don't have samples of--only the picture boards from OnStage.

The top one, Stitched All Around, gives you some pretty stitched edgings on your words.  The lower bundle, Botanical Bliss,  provides you with die cuts of the flowers in the set as well as toppers!

I'm excited about both of these bundles.  What's nice is that you can use the thinlets/framelits with so many other stamp sets too!

Okay, now that you seen the different bundles, which is your favorite?  Which ones made your wish list?  Let me know!  I may be able to help you earn them for FREE by hosting a party/class.

Sea of Textures Bundle

The suite for this bundle is called Tranquil Textures.  You will find this on page 154 of the new catalog.  Check out the Octopus!

Are you ready for some samples?  Here are a couple of pictures I took at OnStage.  They are not great, but you can see what the presenter created with this set.

And here is the full suite

I have two more bundles to show you, so come back this afternoon for those!  Is this one of your favorites?

Happy Crafting,

Desiree'

Sitting Pretty Bundle

This is another bundle that was highlighted at OnStage. Pictures don't do the set justice!

Here are a couple of samples the presenter made with this bundle.  I love this card with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Embossing folder.

Do you see that cute little puppy dog?  I love how she popped the dog out of the box.

Is this bundle one that is going to make your Wish List?

Varied Vases Bundle

This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Mary Fish.  This is a cute set that you can do a lot with.

Here are a couple of cards Mary featured on her blog.

Two really cute ideas -- simple but elegant.  Wouldn't these make cute Thank You cards?

Twinkle, Twinkle Bundle

Now I know you're thinking this is a baby bundle -- and it is!  BUT don't you see a Christmas card using this punch?  Starts and the moon punched out for a manger scene?

As soon as I saw this punch, I knew I had to get it.  You know it's on MY wish list!  And wait until you see the twine--it has silver threading in it so it sparkles!

Another item for your wish list?

Blow Out The Candles Bundle

This is another cute bundle.  And we are going to have candle embellishments as well.  Check out the dies -- you can make your own candles, too!

I also love the font of the "Happy Birthday."  And there is a tag topper die!  Now you can make bookmarks for the birthday parties!

This set will be available on June 1st as well.

Happy Crafting,

Desiree'

A Big Thank You Bundle

Today we're highlighting the bundle, A Big Thank You.  This set comes with the Thank You die.  You can purchase this on/after June 1st.

Look at the beautiful sentiments.  You are the best - don't you love this font?  What about "Friends are Flowers in the Garden of Life?" or "Grateful every day for you."  These sentiments are certainly great for inside or front of your card.

Let me hear from you--what phrase in this set touches you?

Lily Pad Lake Bundle

This bundle was highlighted at OnStage.

I love what the presenter did with the die that looks like water.  In this first card, she created a shade that you can see through.  She popped it up with our adhesive strips to give it some dimension.

On this second card, she made trim on the right side.

I really like both of these cards.  Which one is your favorite?

Ready to make that Wish List yet?  I've got more to post!

New Bundles Coming!

New Hostess Code!

We have a new Hostess Code for April/May.  I create these codes to coordinate with our card classes.

If your order is less than $150, I appreciate you using this Hostess Code:  3WX7MHKG.  Here's a picture to help you know where to enter the code:

If you place an on line order, and it is over $150, you don't need to enter the code so you get the hostess rewards.  What are Hostess Rewards?  FREE Product!  A $150 order gets you 10% or $15 of FREE product.  If you place a $300 order, you get 12% or $36 in FREE product.  And the percentage goes up again at a $450 order with one item at 50% off plus 14%  or $63 in FREE product.

Now I'm going to tell you, if your order is over $150, you may want to consider joining Stampin' Up!  No, you don't have to hold classes.  No, you don't have to even sell to anyone else.  BUT you do need to keep the minimum quota of $300 in sales for a quarter.  What happens if you don't?  You go into Pending status and have a grace period to make it up.  If you don't make it up, you are dropped as a demonstrator.  BUT in the meantime, you get to enjoy a great discount on your personal orders!

This isn't for you?  Okay, so go ahead and place your order and earn some FREE product.

If you decide you want to take advantage of signing up as a demonstrator, let me help you create your kit -- $125 of product for $99 and FREE shipping on the kit.

Mother's Day Card

As some of you know, I have a ton of Paper Pumpkin kits that need to be put together.  If you would like to come out and play with one of these kits, just let me know!  Julie has been stopping by helping to put these together.  I now have them sorted into stacks -- which ones I want to do exactly like the instructions, and which ones I want to change!  There are more change kits than anything!

Well, my April Paper Pumpkin is due as I write this, so when this is posted I will have another kit that I will need to get done.

Today's share is a kit that we did one set of cards close to the kit design, except we made them Mother's Day cards because I was running low.

The little 4 X 4 cards we stepped up into a standard 5-1/2 X 4-1/4 card.  These we made as Birthday cards.

We had 8 cards in this kit and I LOVE them all!  If you get Paper Pumpkin, be sure to share your creations!

Hold On To Hope

Today's share is another card that I brought back from On Stage that my group from the Branson Community Center wanted to make.  I made a couple of changes to it and Julie helped with the decision making!  Thanks, Julie!

Here is the original card by Debbie R., of Choctaw, OK.  She cased her card from Cindy L.

Here is the card Julie and I designed.  I love the colors and simplicity of the card.  I didn't have the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, so I used what I had -- the retired woodgrain embossing folder.  I must admit, I love the Pinewood Planks affect.  Can you guess what's on my next order??

Recipe for this card:

Stamp Set: Hold on to Hope with coordinating framelits
Inks:  Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Early Expresso, and Rich Razzleberry

You Make Me Ridiculously Happy!

I brought home a bunch of swaps from On Stage in Fort Worth.  My Tuesday night class went through the swaps and this is one of the cards they wanted to make.  There was no name with this card, so if this is yours, Thank YOU!

This is a card we will be making in our Tuesday night class at the Branson Community Center.  Class is scheduled for the 24th at 6 pm.  Contact Traci, at the center, to confirm your spot!

On this card there is a lot of two-step stamping.  The flowers are two-toned, but don't worry, we'll be using the stamparatus for most of this card.

Recipe:

Lovely Friends Stamp Set (Retiring 1 June 2018)
Retired Embossing folder (Use what you have!)
Powder Pink Cardstock base
Berry Burst layer
Whisper White

Inks:

Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Momento Black

Come back tomorrow for the second card we will be making!

Q & A on Stampin' Up! New Ink Pads

With our new color revamp, we also have a new design for the ink pads.  Here are some questions and answers that have been raised so far:

2018 INK INFORMATION

Why did we change the case?

The case’s manufacturing mold was about to expire. We can only use a mold a limited number of times before we need to replace it, so we had to decide if we wanted to order more of the same molds or try to improve the design. We chose to improve it!

What’s better about the case?

We wanted the new case to:
Be less confusing to open. Opening the new ink pad case is now more simple and intuitive—just insert your thumb in the lip at the front of the case and lift it to open.
Have a tighter fit between the lid and the base. With the new design, the lid doesn’t accidentally become disconnected, which was a common problem with the old case style. With use, the lid will be easier to slide open and close.
Be stackable. The ability to stack the cases makes them easier to store and transport. We designed a nub in each bottom corner that fits nicely into the dimple on the top of another case. Tip: Removing the label stickers from the bottom of the case (after applying the needed labels to the case) also makes the ink pads stack a little better.
Include improved labels and stickers. Here are a few of the ways we’ve done that:
The top label now has a cleaner, bolder design and a larger color swatch, making it easier to see the ink’s color.
The stickers include a new In Color icon.
We’ve continued to provide color stickers that can be placed on the end of each case to easily identify the ink’s color at a glance.
We’re introducing a new color sticker you can place on the inside of the case, so you can easily distinguish the ink’s color when the case is open.

How is the ink different?

We improved our ink formula because we noticed that our old ink would sometimes bubble, especially on new pads and with lighter colors. When this happened, the ink wasn’t as even and smooth when stamped as we’d like to see it.

The improved ink formula will:
Reduce ink bubbles.
Help you get a smooth coating of ink on the stamp.
Help lay down the ink better.

How do I know if my Classic Ink Refill has the new and improved ink?

Beginning with the 2018–2019 Annual Catalog, all ink refills will have the improved ink formula. Also, if you or a customer recently received an ink refill and it has the new branding label, it contains the improved ink formula.

Can I use an old ink refill on a new ink pad or a new ink refill on an old ink pad?

Yes! You absolutely can with the exception of the Basic Gray Archival and Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ inks. Archival and Classic inks should not be mixed. All other Classic Stampin’ inks will work fine.

Where is the archival ink?

Archival ink will no longer be part of our ink offering. Basic Gray will now be part of the Classic Stampin’ ink family. Please note that you cannot use an archival ink refill on the new Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad, as this will ruin the new ink pad. Only use Classic Stampin’ ink refills on Classic Stampin’ pads. Your best options for black ink pads are the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad, to use with Blends and general black stamping needs, and the Jet Black StāzOn Pad, to use for watercolor and nonporous surface stamping. Both will be part of our ink offering. We are confident that both the Memento and StāzOn pads are high-quality inks that perform to our customers’ needs.

Will the updated Classic Stampin’ Pad case fit in the Color Caddy?

Yes, it will fit into the Color Caddy–just not as tightly as the previous ink pad style. If you’ve stored the updated pads in your caddy, you’ll want to be careful when rotating the caddy and not turn it too fast.

My Premier Preorder should be in on Friday.  I will have samples of the new ink pads and other product, so stop in and see me on Monday or Tuesday next week!
