Fries with That?

Here is the second craft we will be making in my Easter Gift Class scheduled every Saturday in March for you to come out and make four gifts. I'll be sharing one each day so you can see them all before the first class on March 5th from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.  Classes are held at the Branson Mill and pre-registration is required as space is limited.

You can call the Branson Mill to register and pre-pay to secure your spot at the crafting table!

Today's share is the Bunny Fry Box we are making using the Stampin' Up! Fry Box Bigz L die (132966).

We're using Soft Suede cardstock and coordinating designer series papers to dress up the inside and outside of our bunny.  I used the Extra Large and Large Oval punches to create the ears of the bunny.  I used the 1", 3/4" and 1/2" punches for the cheeks and eyes.  The heart punch is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack.

I have the fry boxes already die cut and ready for you to decorate and put together.

All four Easter Gift ideas are on display and available for you to purchase in case you cannot make the classes.  Stop by the Branson Mill today and see how cute these are!

Today's share is a basket that we are making using the Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I will have the baskets already die cut and ready for you to decorate and put together.

St Patty's Day ShamROCKS!

I think these rock!  My husband has been trying to come up with some different ideas for me and my crafts.  I wanted to do a shamrock using the Hershey Kisses like I do for other holidays -- Christmas, Valentines, Easter, etc.

So he jumped on the Cricut and die cut the large shamrocks. I individually wrapped each kiss with a triangle of designer paper.  I then put the shamrock on the Tea Lace Paper Doilie.  I still thought they needed a little something more so we added a smaller version on the top.

I hope you enjoy today's share!

Can you say "WOW"?

I really love these new framelits from Stampin' Up!  I cannot wait for you to come out and create these four cards with me today!

This card can be revamped for a special anniversary too!  I used the stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment.  I used the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlet Die for the heart and flowers.

This rose card can be revamped in so many ways!  We'll be using this new bundle next month as well.  It is the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and Rose Garden Thinlit dies.

For this card, we're using the new stamp set, Going Global. Again, this card can be revamped for Father's Day, Thank You, and Just Because.

This is a spinner card and if you haven't seen a spinner card, they are really cute!  We're using the Going Global stamp set and the Sale-A-Bration set, The Sky is the Limit (no longer available).

Class is from 12:30 - 3:30 at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  I am also offering this same class on Saturday, February 27th, from 12:30 - 3:30.  Be sure to come and see me on either day to create your own cards!

What are You Waiting For? It's a SALE!

Here are this week's deals from Stampin' Up!

If you have seen the many stars I had last year from the Many Merry Stars kit (retired), you will want to invest in the Star Framelits while they are on sale! Framelits are versatile and well worth the money!

We've also used the hearts embossing folder which is good for any occasion--share your love!

We've used buttons on some of our projects, but remember, unless you are hand-giving OR wrap in a bubble wrap envelope, the buttons, brads, and/or pearls and jewels may get damaged in the mail.

I don't have the Medallion punch, but I do use my punches for things other than what they were intended. Check out a few of the critter boxes I made using punches!

And lastly, who can craft without using markers? Not me! I love to color and these are great with the dual tips for fine details and brush tip for filling in larger spaces.

Be sure to also check out the Clearance Rack when shopping for great deals!

Please use the hostess code on the image for this month!

Paper Pumpkin

If you love to craft, you want to check this out.  I know some of you have tried Paper Pumpkin and weren't impressed.  BUT, if you like variety and other options, Paper Pumpkin is for you.

What do you get?  Well, if you sign up for three months of Paper Pumpkin, you will get a FREE Sale-a-bration item of your choice -- this is only good through March 31st.

Inside the little orange box (sometimes it's pink!), you will get a clear block with your first one and then only the kit.  The kit includes all the supplies to make what is in the video.  You will always get an ink spot, enough cardstock and embellishments for the project plus extras, and you will get an instruction sheet.  Each month Stampin' Up! publishes a video to show you how to make their design.  If you do not like their design, you can get your creative juices flowing by either checking out my Pinterest board, Paper Pumpkin, join a Facebook group called Paper Pumpkin Fan Club (has lots of pictures to go through for inspiration on past kits!), or you can get your own creative juices flowing and design your own project.

Here is February's Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Click on the image and watch how easy it is to make nine cards and decorated envelopes.  You can also subscribe to the Paper Pumpkin Video Channel on YouTube and get ideas!

Be sure to contact me if you have any questions!

Last Baby Explosion Book

First, a class reminder -- today's class is from 12:30 to 3:30 and we will be making the 6 X 6 Foldout Scrapbook.  If you prefer a different color than the pink used on my sample, just let me know ahead of time so I can have the color cut and ready for you!  Again, class time is from 12:30 to 3:30 unless you arrange a different time that fits your schedule.

Here is the last Baby Explosion Book I made on Thursday.  I love how the Melon Mambo color pops on the Pretty in Pink Designer Series papers!

Be sure to let me know which one is your favorite!

Baby Girl Scrapbook

Now you know I couldn't have just boys or just girls for baby books, don't you?  Well I took Thursday to craft at the Branson Mill Craft Village and here is one of the two books I made.  I'll share the second one tomorrow!

Remember, you can use any heavy cardboard you have to cut down for the covers.  If you don't have enough designer series paper, come see me!  Another option you can use for covers is the border wall paper I highlighted earlier this week. Again, shop around and buy it when it's on clearance -- save your pennies!

I love the colors on this scrapbook and I'm so glad my sister, Marilyn, provided me one for an example years ago.  I was able to make some friends their baby books and now I get to hear all sorts of stories when I talk with people who are interested in the books!

Don't forget we have card class on Sunday, from 12:30 - 3:30.  Hope you can make to the Branson Mill for your card class.  If you cannot make it on Sunday, contact me so we can schedule a day/time that works for you!

Baby Boy Explosion Book

I have been so busy that I ran out of baby books for my store! I actually have two of these, but I'm holding one back for a customer who came in and asked about one, but I didn't have any done.  The one I have set aside is for Cingston.  So I made a second one for my store.

As you know I like to upcycle anything I can.  So I used the heavy cardboard from our designer series papers (not the regular cardboard, but the heavy stuff!).  I cut these into 5 X 5 squares and covered with retired Designer Series Papers.  I then cut three pieces of white cardstock into 8 X 8 and scored at the 4" on both sides.  Then I scored from one point to the other -- but only once.  Leave the other side unscored.

Add some papers and embellishments, and you're done!  I made a belly band out of 1-1/2 X 12 coordinating cardstock. I die cut the words, "Our Baby" using the Little Alphabet dies from Stampin' Up!   I left the belly band undecorated so I can add the baby's name should the customer want me to!

Reminder -- I have the set of two 3-dimensional star class today from 12:30 to 3:30.  It shouldn't take but an hour or so to complete your stars but I like to allow extra time so you are not rushed.

I hope you enjoy today's share.

Paper Bag Scrapbook

Okay, I have to admit that I bloopered!  I made the covers for this project and the first ones were too small.  If you saw yesterday's post, you saw the Explosion Scrapbook I made using the ones that were too small for this project.

So I made some larger covers and used Perfect Plum cardstock on the inside covers.  I then added the paper bags after I removed the bottoms so both ends are open to slip little things inside.  The book I helped my sister make for her grandson, Sebastian, was to make into an ABC book.  This isn't completed as it will be up for sale at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  Think of the many possibilities for this book!

What's also nice is that you can add more pages as the book grows!

Well, that's all for today.  I hope you will stop by to take one of the many classes I have available.  Coming up on Friday, is the 3-D star and on Sunday is our Monthly Card Class.  I will start class at 12:30 and 2 pm for the Star class and Card class will start at 12:30 and will stay open until 4:30.  The Mill closes at 5 pm and I will need to have everything put away prior to that so we can all go home.

Weekly Deals

Here are this week's deals from Stampin' Up!  Check them out -- two punches, fast fuse refill, AND the envelope punch board.  I don't use the sequins much, but if you're into these, you will also want to get some of these as well.

Some of you already have the envelope punch board, so here are some items that I've posted in the past, that I used the Envelope Punch Board to create.  If you don't have it yet, maybe these cute ideas will help you decide to add this tool to your craftroom!

Floral Explosion Book

Do you check out the clearance items at Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards?  Maybe some other Big Tool Store?

Well, I love to look for bargains and when I see them, I buy them!  I found three rolls of border wall paper on clearance a few years back and kept them for a reason.  Well, the first book I made using these border papers was for my great nephew, Sebastian.  I had paper that had dolphins on it and since he lived in Florida, this was perfect.

Today's share is an explosion book I made using another roll of border paper.  I love the pinks and purples in this roll!  I started out using the sturdier cardboard from Stampin' Up! designer series paper.  I cut it down to 5 X 5 squares and then covered them with the border wall paper.  I then covered the inside with cardstock.

I made my explosion book, using three pieces of whisper white cardstock and cutting them down to 8 X 8.  I scored at 4 inches on both sides.  I then aligned my square piece of paper on my paper trimmer, point to point on the grid so I could score just the one time.

Taking care, I folded mountain and valley folds to create the explosion.  I used some Stampin' Up! papers and cardstock to compliment the book.

Be sure to leave me a comment on what your favorite part of this book is!

Class Reminder

Today we are crafting the 6 X 6 Fold Out Scrapbook from 12:30 to 3:30.  Two classes; each an hour and a half long.

I hope you can make one of these two times to craft your scrapbook!

Today I'm sharing some punch art I found on Pinterest and created my own Leprechaun Nugget pouches.  I used the large tag punch, the small scallop punch, the Owl Builder punch and the word window punch.  Oh, and the Scallop Tag Topper punch for the top.

I used our retired green ribbon to top off the treat.  Inside, I have three wrapped nuggets for that special person!
