My Busy Wednesday!

Well, I started out making some of the Hershey Nugget Six Packs at home to have them ready to embellish when I got into Desiree's Craftroom at the Branson Mill Craft Village. Since my shelf was empty, I decided to work on these first, then the purses.

Well, before I could finish the first one, it was sold!  I then finished the second one I had started at home and put it out. I then proceeded to make a few more.  I made a total of six Mossy Meadow ones and two of the Smokey Slate and Red ones, for a total of 10 totes today.  Well, when I left at 5 today, I only had four left.

I also started on the purses, but I didn't get pictures, because the first one wasn't quite done when a lady walked up and wanted four of them!  No pictures of those.  But I did get two more done so I'd have some hanging while I'm not there today.  I'll get pictures of these tomorrow if they haven't already sold!

Enjoy today's share, and remember, I do take special orders. If you see something I post here, be sure to let me know if you would like to purchase some.

Starburst Classes

If you haven't already taken my Starburst class, you may want to sign up soon!  These are beautiful to hang from your windows during the Holiday season.  They also make great gifts and since they are handmade, your friends will love it!

Monday I held a Starburst class and Kathy joined me to learn how to make these.  I need to cut more papers for this class, so if you happen to walk in and want to make one, I have the materials ready for you!

When you take a class with me, I walk you through the process, making one with you.  After class, you get to take home the finished project, a template to make more at home, AND I email you the tutorial.  Right now, you also have the option to purchase the Stampin' Up! Handheld stapler and staples until their supplies are exhausted.  They will not be selling these anymore.

I hope you will come in and join me in a class.  If this isn't a class for you, let me know what YOU would like to learn!  I'm flexible.

Six Nugget Totes

Today's share is about Six Nugget Totes.  Here is the totes that I made over the weekend for the store.  I used cardstock, a paper trimmer, Designer series papers, and the word window punch to create these.

I had only made three because I still had three on the shelf. Here's my shelf as of Monday afternoon!

Guess I'll be making more of these after I get my Christmas Purses done!  I do make special orders, so if there is something that I post that you want, be sure to let me know. Colors and words can be changed out easily.

Covered Kleenex Boxes

If you haven't seen these before, you NEED to stop in and check these out.  These are refillable and are made with cardstock and designer series papers.  I LOVE how they look and think they would cheer up anyone who needed a Kleenex!

I used two different stamp sets for these and decided to make them slightly different.  I hope you enjoy today's share!

Corner Bookmarks

Here are the bookmarks that I finished at the Mill yesterday.  I had a lot of people stop and visit with me but I still managed to get these done.

I tried to make some masculine looking bookmarks as well.  I found some of this retired designer series papers that reminded me of Argyll sweaters.  I think these three are great for that favorite guy who loves to read.  What do you think?

I also worked on another set of bookmarks for kids.  I stamped a kitty and punched it out and layered on a flower.  I figure kids can color the kitty and have their own book mark. Here is the Kitty Bookmark.

Once I completed the bookmarks, I finished up the Kleenex boxes I worked on at home.  Come back Monday to see those!

More Post Its with Pens

Here are some more Post It Notes with Pens that I created on Wednesday.  Yesterday, I didn't complete any projects because my punches, inks, and stamps are at my store.  So for today, I'm posting these that I finished and put out on the shelf before leaving for the day.

Come on in today and check out the Corner Bookmarks I worked on yesterday and hope to finish today while demonstrating at the Branson Mill Craft Village.

Let me know if there is a particular item that you would like to learn how to make.  I do have tutorials that I email to my class attendees so you can remake the items at home! Contact me today to schedule your class!

Post It Notes with Pens

I had six of these on my shelf ready to sell.  When I came back from lunch, they were all gone!  So I made these for the rest of the afternoon and will be adding more to my stock tomorrow!

These are made with retired Designer Series Papers and current colors, Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral.  I love the vibrancy of these papers.  Like you can pick the apples up and eat them!

If you haven't stopped in to see these, you need to!  These are super cute and the little pens are adorable.  These will make great stocking stuffers as well.  The pens are from Staples.

Another Michael's Find

I love picking up steals from Michael's, don't you?  These went on sale, so even though I didn't like the covers, I bought them!

To make them mine, I used some retired Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers to cover the front and back and then added a solid coordinating color.  I left this plain so I can customize with a person's name on the solid panel.  Inside are lined pages to make this a journal or just a notebook to keep your list of things to do!

Here is another one I completed using retired papers.  These are such cute gifts!

There is so much you can do to make homemade gifts for your loved ones.   I hope this gives you some inspiration to get some of those hand made gifts for Christmas done early!

Notepad Covers

I found these notepads at Michael's and thought I would dress them up.  I made the cover using Stampin' Up! Night of Navy cardstock.  I then created a slot to add a pen so it is always available for use (provided you put the pen back!).

I made the cover to coordinate with the colors of the first pad. I kept the front nonspecific so i could change out the pads when they are empty.

First pad inside is a Shopping List -- who doesn't make shopping lists for Christmas?  Well, if you don't shop for Christmas gifts, you can use this list for groceries!

Stop in and see me at the Branson Mill Craft Village Tuesdays - Saturdays.  Pending doctor appointments, I should be there this week every day except Thursday!

More Stand Up Post It Notes

You may be asking yourself, "Why does she make so many Post It Notes?"  Well, I have these available in my store, Desiree's Craftroom, at the Branson Mill Craft Village.  When they sell, I make more and post here, just in case someone who visited me at the store wants more!

I use a variety of different verses and try to change them out intermittently.

Here are some that I made, using a new verse for the Post Its.  I also made some more using my old FAVORITE, She Believed She Could, So She Did!

Be sure to let me know if you would like any of these personalized for your Christmas gifts!  These are refillable (just remove the paper backing from new post it notes and attach to the backing already on the holder.  They ship flat so are very easy to mail!

If you are local to Branson, Missouri, you can always stop in at the Branson Mill Craft Village and see these items in person!

I'm trying out new phrases as I create these and trying to remember what I had that sold!  If you see a verse you like, let me know the colors you want!  I also do custom orders.

More Gift Ideas

Here is another cute gift idea for Christmas or for any holiday. I've made these cups for Valentines and other holidays in the past.  I decided to try these cup holders, designed by Chris Slogar.

These hold the K-Cup (Keurig coffee cups) so if you wanted to hide their favorite flavor, you can inside one of these. There is also room for money or you can just add their favorite candies.

These dress up nicely using any designer series papers.  I'm also attaching some I made last year so you can see the versatility of these cups.

Now you may ask, "Where can I get those cups?"  Here's a link to the on-line store.  Don't forget to order lids too.  And yes, 1000 cups is a better deal, so you may want to have someone go in on the order with you.

Be sure to stop in at the Branson Mill Craft Village to check these out in person.  They are so cute!

Christmas Gift Ideas

If you are looking for some beautiful Christmas Gift ideas, stop in at the Branson Mill Craft Village or visit my Crafts for Sale page!  Because most of my crafts are made using retired Stampin' Up! product, you will want to select your items early so I don't run out.  Or I can customize any order you prefer.

Today's share are some more Nugget boxes I made using retired papers.  Each box comes with a decorative ornament that can be cut off and hung on your tree!  The box holds 10 nuggets, each wrapped in designer papers.  The nuggets slip out so you can munch on them today and refill them just before Christmas!  How's that for a triple hitter?

I hope you enjoy today's project!
