Paper Stacks Vs Designer Series Paper Packs

Do you know the difference in these two types of papers from Stampin' Up!?  The Paper stacks are usually 6 X 6 with 48 sheets.  Our Designer Series Papers are 12 X 12 and come in a package of 12.  Both are double-sided papers unless they are foil or embossed -- then they are only one sided.  Stampin' Up! usually includes 2 sheets of the speciality and the rest of the pack is double sided.  Come out and see me at the Branson Mill Craft Village and I can demonstrate the differences.

Here is a sample of how I would package the papers.  This is NON-Stampin' Up! papers so they are single sided.  I would provide you with pictures of the other sides as well so you have a better idea of what you are getting in your selection!

I will be putting out some RETIRED Designer Series Papers (DSP) and need your opinion.  Do you want to purchase the complete package of 12 sheets of DSP or would you like me to cut them down to 6X6 and offer them to you at a lesser cost?

Be sure to leave me a comment!

Spinner Card Kits

I also have some Spinner Card Kits, sometimes called Slider cards, that I will be putting out for sale as well.  Here are the two cards that we did to get the process down.  Each kit comes with cardstock cut to size.  These kits do NOT include the pennies nor the dimensionals to complete the project.

Again, you will need your own stamps and ink to complete!

Water Fall Card Kits

Since holding my Technique Classes, I've still managed to overcut supplies.  Lucky for you!  I've put a few (whatever I had cut) of these together as a kit.  The kit includes all papers, ribbon, brads, and cardstock to complete the project. You provide the stamps and ink to complete!

I hope you enjoy these kits!

Scattered??

Have you ever been so scatter brained that you were working multiple projects and didn't get to complete as much as you wanted to?

That's the way I was on Saturday.  Since no one showed up for class, I proceeded to prep some paper towel rolls thinking that I would get three or four books done.

Hahahaha!  Well, while I was looking for the different supplies, i.e., ribbons, embellishments, and such, I got distracted with the different cards that I had cut.  I then decided I would make some card kits to see if they would sell.

Then I looked at my table and said, "No, you need to finish this scrapbook!"  So I did.  I only took pictures of the book itself, but the kit does come with extra papers, ribbons, and some embellishments to finish.

I'll include pictures of the other two I still have left so you can see what they include!

Come back tomorrow to see the card kits I've assembled for sale!

Purse Style Gift Card Holders

While teaching a class with some visitors, I prepared a bunch of retired Designer Series Papers to make my purses.  These are cute, quick to make (once you get the fold down!) and can be used for so many holidays!

I also make these at Christmas time to hang on the Christmas tree for the gift cards or cash.  I put a little hang tag on the handle so you can write the person's name on it, too.

Here are some purses I completed after my class:

If you've taken one of my classes, or chatted with me in my store, I've made a bunch of suggestions.  Now what types of things would you suggest to put in these besides a gift card or cash? Most unique suggestion will win a prize!

Today's share is a card I designed for our card class on Saturday, June 17th.  I hope you can join us for some fun; we'll be making four cards.  Class starts at 1 pm.

I used the new stamp set, Lovely Friends.  Who wouldn't love to receive this card?  I love Sweet Sugarplum as well for spring/summer cards.

See you on Saturday!

Mint Tin Scrapbooking Class

Last week, I also held a Mint Tin Scrapbooking Class.

I based my tin around Father's Day.  I used my Mini Alphabet framelits for the cover and inside. I used Soft Suede Cardstock and designer series papers to cover the tin and to embellish the inside.

Here is the tin that I upcycled for our class.

Mint Tins vary in sizes, so be sure to measure twice and cut once.  If in doubt, I usually cut a little larger so I can cut away in lieu of wasting a smaller cut piece.

Be sure to let me know when YOU would like to come in for a Mint Tin Scrapbooking class.  I'll be publishing June's schedule soon!

Happy Crafting!
