Four God's Peace Cards

Here are four more cards I made while designing cards for class.  We made card 2 and card 4 in card class.  I still have a few supplies cut so I'm having this class today at 2 pm!    

The first card is using Cherry Cobbler.  I like this one because it's simple and easy to mail.  

This second card is the same, but using Real Red on the poinsettia.  More true to the colors.  

This card I diecut the poinsettia and punched a circle to layer and pop up on dimensionals to accent the flower.  I curled and popped the sentiment up on dimensionals as well.

This last card is the same as the third, just different colors.  I love the red on crumb cake because it softens the look.

Squash Ornament Class

Reminder of our Squash Ornament class today at 2 and 6 pm.  Also, on Saturday, Nov 30th, kids can come in with a parent and make their own ornaments. Class is $10. 

Here are the two ornaments we will be making:  the first one is on retired music sheet designer series papers.  The second one is snowflakes stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock.

All supplies are provided!  Class is $10.

Stocking Stuffers!

I needed a few of the Hot Cocoa Pouches in hurry!  What do you do when you need something in a hurry?  First, you panic.  Then you say, "Oh, I can handle this!"  

I went to my stash of Die Cut With A View Christmas Glitter papers to see if I could use anything for the fronts of the pouches.  I found a few pages that I really liked, but needed to fussy cut the cups and trees out.  

I made the pouches using Stampin' Up! cardstock and ribbon.  The little Pull is a stamp from one of our Paper Pumpkin kits.

Remember, Christmas is only 29 days away and these would make great Stocking Stuffers!

God's Peace

Today I'm sharing a few cards I made while trying to design cards for my last Christmas Card class on December 4th.  

I'm using God's Peace, from Stampin' Up!  It's in our Holiday catalog and available until January 2nd.  I also used the new Winter Knit 3-D Embossing folder on all the layers, also in the Holiday Catalog.  For the first card, I used Copper Embossing powder and Stampin' Blends.  I wasn't happy with the Cherry Cobbler richness on this card.  I used Soft Seafoam for the base with Shaded Spruce for a layer.

For this second card, I used Real Red for the Poinsettia and liked this coloring.  I embossed with black embossing powder on this and used the blends.  

For the third card, I used Shaded Spruce for the base and Daffodil Delight for the layer.  I wanted to try to pull the color from the flames and the center of the Poinsettia.  I stamped with Momento black ink and colored with markers.  

For the last card, I used two of my favorite colors for Christmas, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake.  I heat embossed with Black and used my markers to color.  

I think I've decided which one I'll use for class, but please, leave me a note on which one is your favorite!

Gable Boxes

I forgot I had purchased these gable boxes! I watched a video from fellow demonstrator, Frenchie, and knew I had to try embossing these boxes. So I hunted until I found where I put them!

The first one is the embossed box (do before decorating). Think of wedding favors, Table placements, etc. Lots of ideas!

This second box is dressed up using retired designer series papers for a cute Christmas gift!

Hot Cocoa Sliders

These adorable Pull Up Ribbon Slides are using some retired Stampin' Up! product, but make great stocking stuffers as well. I've used retired Emerald Envy cardstock and ribbon to create the holder. Pull the ribbon up and out comes the Hot Cocoa! The mittens are leftovers from a retired embellishment kit.

Corner Bookmarks

2020 Calendar Classes

Our last Calendar class is scheduled for October 29th, both at 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. We will be making all 12 months and the cost is $15.

Peek-A-Boo Classes

I have several sets of the Peek-A-Boo card class left.  If you would like to come in and learn how to make these cards, get in touch with me and I will get these back on the schedule!  

Peek-A-Boo Technique Card Class can be scheduled during the week at 2 pm or Saturdays at 2 pm.  Evenings need to be scheduled.  All supplies provided. Class is $10.

Three Card Class

I have added another class to my October schedule!  Today, from 2-4 as well as 6-8 pm, we will be making three cards using Toile Christmas Stamp set and Designer Series Papers and dies.  Be sure to let me know which time you will be coming so I have enough supplies cut and ready for you!

Here are the three cards we will be making:

This card uses the designer series papers (DSP) from the Toile Christmas Suite.  Great for winter birthdays!

This card is using three items from the suite -- can you pick them out?  Toile Christmas DSP, stamp set and dies!

This card uses the DSP from Toile Christmas suite as well as Nested Dies and sentiment is from God's Peace.

Did You Miss It?

I've been negligent in getting postings here.  I'm using a new program to post to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and forgot to include the posts here!  So, just in case you're not on any of the above social media, I will be posting here what I've already shared there.

What did you do for World Cardmaking Day? I hosted a Card Class at 2 pm and had a free Make and Take for those who wanted to learn how to use papers and cardstock to make a beautiful card. 

Today's share is a card I made using the Feels Like Frost Designer Series papers.  The sentiment, peace, is a retired die from Stampin' Up!  And the stamp are the words I put inside the card.

Purse Gift Card Holder

Here is another cute Christmas Gift idea! This is the second gift that we will be making in our Christmas Gift Classes.  If there is something special you want to make, let me know!

We will be using the Night Before Christmas papers for this purse. The stamp is retired, but you can use Holly Jolly Christmas, Cup of Christmas, Perfectly Plaid or any verse from the Itty Bitty Christmas sets.  Imagine those looking for their presents under the tree and you've hung this ON the tree!

How many things can you come up with to fill this purse?

Did I mention that when you take my class, you will receive a tutorial on how to make more of these in your own home?  I send it via email so you will always have a copy!

Christmas Gift Classes

I've been asked to set up a couple of Christmas Gift classes. If there is something special that you would like to learn how to make, get with me to set up a class!

Did you see September's Calendar? Well, we're using the same Cup of Cheer dies for our Christmas Gift Class. There is lots of die cutting in this class. We will be using scraps of designer series papers to put at the bottom. Now, can you think of what else you can put in this pouch? What about a gift card, packet of cider, or a card with matching earrings and necklace!

December Calendar

December brings us to the end of the year for my 2020 calendar. 

The backing is Copper Foil paper.  I then stamped the sentiment, Christmas Wishes, from our Toile Christmas stamp set, which is in the new Holiday catalog, in Night of Navy.  And it has coordinating dies!

The ornament is punched out (used an old ornament punch) of the new Brightly Gleaming Specialty papers.The papers have copper foil accents so this month's calendar really shines!

November Calendar

November's calendar features a retired stamp set, Labels to Love. With November, everyone starts the month off with being grateful. I know I like to take a moment each day and reflect on all the things I don't have in my life!

For this calendar, we're using papers from the Come to Gather Designer Series Papers. Cajen Craze and Pear Pizzazz ink along with Early Expresso finish up this sentiment.

As some of you know, I'm having sciatic nerve issues. Today I'm headed to Springfield (store will be closed but class is on!) to see the Neurosurgeon. Hopefully she will tell us that all I need is a shot. I know, I hate shots! But I hate surgery more!!

September is time for warmer drinks! We're using Cup of Christmas and Blissful Blooms (August 2018 Paper Pumpkin) stamp sets for this month.

Stamping and die-cutting made easy!  This is another simple but pleasing calendar.

August Calendar

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for August, but I knew I wanted watermelon. So I went through my stamp sets, including my Paper Pumpkin stamp sets and found one!

We're using an older Paper Pumpkin stamp set, One in a Melon, from June 2017, for August! The papers are also from this kit.

We will be stamping in Emerald Envy (retired) and Melon Mambo inks. We're going to cut out the watermelon and pop it up on dimensionals.

July Calendar

For July's calendar, we're using an old Stampin' Up! stamp set, Star Spangled Banner.

This set has four flag stamps in it. We'll be using Night of Navy ink for the stamp and then Real Red marker to draw the stripes. Then we're going to fussy cut it out and pop it up on dimensionals.

I love how this one turned out!
