Artistically Asian Screen Card

Today's share is a screen card we'll be making in class tomorrow night.  This is a fun card!

Recipe:

Basic Black Card stock - 11 X 5-1/2, scored at 2-1/4, 5-1/2, 7-3/4
Gold Foil Paper - 2-1/8 X 5 (4 panels)
Basic Black Card Stock - 1-7/8 X 4-3/4 (4 Panels)
Real Red Card Stock - 1-5/8 X 4-1/2 (4 Panels)
Scraps of Black, Red and Whisper White card stock for sentiments

We're using the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder.  When using the dynamic embossing folders, you will notice they are a lot thicker than your typical embossing folders.  So that calls for a different recipe for your Big Shot!  But first, you will want to spritz your cardstock.  Then place in the embossing folder.  I blot mine beforehand to get excess water off.

The recipe for the Big Shot is first your base platform.  If you have two tabs (older platform), lift Tab 2 so your embossing folder will rest on Tab 1.  Yes, there is no plate on the platform.  Then you will place a plate on top of the embossing folder and roll through the Big Shot.

I hope you will join us for card class tomorrow night!  If you plan on attending, be sure to let me know so I have enough card supplies cut and ready to go!

Happy Crafting,

Desiree'
